Tokimaru Tanaka’s Extreme Radio Good morning everyone, it’s Tokimaru. Today is Wednesday, June 11th, and the time is 6 o’clock in the morning. I’m broadcasting from the White Box Studio in Tokyo. How are you all doing ? This is the third time. Since we’ve adopted this format, we’ve managed to keep going. If we do it one more time, it’ll be about a month, so I think it’ll be fine after a month. Today, we’ll be talking casually again, so please listen while you’re doing something. Well, let’s start with this morning’s song. Today, we’ll be doing this morning’s song, In my So, I’ve sent you In My Room by Utada Hikaru. It’s a song from First Love, I think it was her first album, and it’s a hidden gem. I really like this song. It’s this languid melody that pops in between all the other great songs. And then there’s the song Tuesday Morning in the Hallway. Today is Wednesday, and Tuesday Morning Begins with Passing Each Other in the Hallway. Even when I listen to it now, it still hasn’t lost its luster. It’s amazing. It’s amazing to have such a simple song like this. Tokimaru Tanaka’s Scenery of the Week I’ve been doing this corner since last week, and the scenery I saw this week was, first of all, this amazing photo that was sent to me by one of my viewers, a listener. I think he was introducing the contents of his refrigerator the other day, but he sent me a video saying that he has the exact same refrigerator as Tokimaru-san, and when I looked at the photo, not the video, it was exactly the same as my refrigerator , and he must be a minimalist, he has quite a few things and you can see quite a lot of the food in the fridge and it’s quite similar to mine, even down to the model number. And then, he was talking about how my fridge doesn’t freeze, and that person had really strong notes, I think they set it to about 5567, so I thought I’d try that out myself and turn the temperature up a little. And then the blueberries froze beautifully. Yes, I was so happy. It’s been about two years now, but since I started using this refrigerator and came to this room , I wondered why I hadn’t done it sooner. Yes, the blueberries were frozen beautifully, and since they hadn’t frozen any more until then, after 23 days I was eating them while they were still soft, and they were releasing a lot of water and I was really worried, so I felt like I had to consume them quickly, but I was in a hurry. I was always thinking , I have to eat the blueberries quickly, I have to eat them quickly, but then they all froze beautifully and they were just a little bit frozen and finished in a flaky state. This was a really happy sight that I saw this week, and I felt like I had taken a step forward in using that tool. I think it’s pretty hard to get used to the idea of setting things the same way. I think there are times when you set something to the same setting and you just keep using it that way, and I think that’s true for cameras and other electrical appliances and equipment too. Of course it’s necessary to be able to change it flexibly according to the content of the shoot, but once you get past the point where you’re a lazy person and you just set it once more and it stays that way . Yes, that’s the way it is, and I think that this time I was listening to it in a slightly negative way, and I reflected on that. Yes, I reflected on adjusting the temperature of the refrigerator. This week’s extreme news corner. Well, this week I received an email from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Bureau of Waterworks saying that they will be offering four months of free basic fees. I was already aware of this story, but I didn’t want to see it on the news. Finally, the email arrived properly and it’s official, but there are plenty of things to point out. What kind of email did I receive? It was from a great source that, as a temporary measure to protect the lives, health and livelihoods of Tokyo residents, it has been decided that basic water charges for the current summer will be free of charge. This applies to small-scale 13,202,225mm customers , and it says that you should not refrain from using air conditioning etc. in the summer, but to take thorough measures to prevent heatstroke. But, you know, when does this mean? When does it start? It only says four months, this summer, so when does summer start? This is already full of things to point out to me, but even for me, summer has already started, but when is it? It’s like, where and with whom, and how, and the 5H, you learn the basics in junior high school, right? But there was no information about that at all. That’s right, when did it start, and that last sentence was also quite puzzling, saying that in the summer, please take thorough measures to prevent heatstroke without refraining from using air conditioners, etc., but air conditioners are about electricity, so what is the relationship between air conditioners and water bills? They are separate, so what is it, it’s about water bills, so please cool down your house without refraining from using the water, etc. If that were the case, I would understand, but it’s like, where did the air conditioner come from, and they’re talking about electricity, and all of a sudden they’re saying, please take measures to prevent heatstroke without refraining from using the air conditioner , and where did the water go? Yeah, this was interesting , so I wondered if everyone hadn’t thought about that question, yeah, I was quite curious about it, so yeah, I just brought it up, but in any case, I’m happy that water bills will be free for four months, thank you So, one thing I’ve been thinking about this week is, well, I’ve been doing something like a digital detox, and I ‘ve talked about it quite a bit in my videos, but in the end, I’m continuing with it, or rather, I feel that the trap is constantly growing, and the more I use it, yes, I do open social media every now and then, but basically I don’t have anything on my smartphone anymore, and I only use Instagram for announcements, so I only download it when I go on a trip or when I want to post something, and so it’s a little hard to get direct mail, so if possible, I would like it to be delivered to my mailbox, so if there are people who want to contact me, so I’m trying out various things and I’m always using the screen. We have to be careful about things like screen time , and then recently, on something related to that, Dr. Takaya, the person at Takas Clinic, was talking in a video about how to keep your brain young, and he said that you should be careful about the content you consume, and I think the video was about maintaining your youth, and I happened to watch it, and he was saying that content products like Twitter and TikTok and short videos aren’t good after all . I don’t know if there is any evidence for this, but I think that things that are adrenalin-dominant or highly stimulating, that make you want to keep watching them for long periods of time, are the trap of screen time, and he kept saying that this is not good, and that short videos are not good, and that your thinking becomes short-lived, so You said that if you’re going to watch something, it’s better to watch a long video with content that makes you think deeply, right? So in that sense, I kind of thought that I’d like to continue this radio show for a long time. And as I watch all the different content, I think that reading a book, or rather reading long pieces of text, is the best way to organize and hone your thoughts, and that also helps with your own writing, and it leads to things like talking on YouTube. I’ve stopped using Twitter, but those short comments, one word at a time, bang bang bang, they do make a point and kind of stick in your mind, but in the end, it makes you think a step more deeply. I have to take action and think about it myself, and unless I do that, I won’t be able to internalize it, and I think that maybe the same can be said for videos, and I actually like watching podcasts and longer videos, so on YouTube I do whatever I want, or rather, I do whatever I want, and sometimes I just make a lot of joke videos, but they’re silly videos, and I don’t really care about the length, but basically, with radio, I really want people to understand with their ears, and I want to convey it to everyone, or I want them to listen, so I think that I can express it in words properly, I think it’s good in the sense that it breaks things down and conveys them, and Dr. Takaya also said that longer videos are better than short ones, although he didn’t really talk about evidence, and he is a doctor after all, so I think he probably has a background in that area, so I believe in that and I wanted to make a slightly longer video. Now, let’s move on to the letter corner. We have received letters this week as well, so thank you very much to those who have sent them in , and they have been quite deep, or rather, very deep. Today, I think I can talk about three in total, so I would like to introduce three of them. I received one from a person with the radio name Minimal Runner. I discovered Tokimaru around May and became hooked . I work as a photographer on the side, and I also run, hike and trail run, and have recently started doing yoga. I’m not as extreme a minimalist as Tokimaru , but I think I’ll soon start singing in an empty room too. I’d like to ask you about photography, so I have a question. This is my first question. How did Tokimaru go from being a photographer’s assistant to being a freelance photographer and video producer? I’d especially like to hear about how you were able to take on work yourself, and how you moved away from client work. I’m currently a maximum photographer who gets work for clients in a variety of genres, including sports photography, corporate photography, and event photography for children and student field trips . Many of the projects are applied for through the platform, and I don’t accept them individually. I’m not able to do that , but I want to be a creator like Tokimaru-san, so I’m taking this as a request. I work as a photographer on the side, and I also do running, mountain climbing, and trail yoga, which are pretty similar to what I do. Let’s start singing in an empty room. So, as a premise, you wrote that you’re probably working as a photographer on the side, so what does that mean? Maybe you want to make that side job your main job? Or , well, what I want to ask is, how did you transition from being an assistant to being a freelance photographer and video creator? So, I think that you’re probably doing it as a side job now, but you want to become independent as a photographer. So, I think that this means that, by being able to take on work on your own, clients have moved away from work. To sum it up in one word, it ‘s all about connections, you know, as a cameraman, and in order to do that you either have to belong to a famous production company or become an assistant to a famous cameraman and then that’s about it, and I actually did both at the same time, I mean I was affiliated with a production company, or rather a photography production company, and so I was a cameraman for quite a while, and I was doing that for a long time, and as I was doing a lot of different things there, I got external jobs and made a lot of connections, and when I became independent, external cameramen and external directors, those people started ordering work from me, and then I also had connections with other people in the same business. I think you can make a living by getting requests to do photo shoots for photographers , or by connecting with hair and makeup artists and stylists, and ultimately it depends on what genre you choose to take, but in the Japanese photography industry, the genres of photography are divided into extremely fine categories, and the industry structure differs depending on that, and your own revenue structure and earnings will also change . So, when you register with one of the platforms I’m talking about now and get assigned, I think that the platform will basically take a platform fee, so I think the unit price is probably around 30,000, 50,000, or 100,000 yen at most. Well, when it comes to working with clients like I did, in fashion or advertising, the unit price is basically over 300,000 yen, or at least 100,000 yen, and if you get a lot for one shoot , it can go up to 2 or 3 million. When it comes to things like that, you end up having to train at a famous production company in Japan, or at a studio – there are prestigious studios, and while working at that studio, you become a member of that studio, become a regular photographer there, train at that studio for a while, and then become that person’s apprentice , and be recognized and start getting orders from there . So in the end, it’s quite important what genre you do. So, this minimal runner gets all kinds of work regardless of genre, which is fine, but if there is a field that you want to work in, I think you need to narrow it down quite a bit. If you narrow it down, the fees and compensation for shooting will go down, so it may seem like a detour, but ultimately, if you want to become independent and start taking orders as an individual, you have to do that. There are so many photographers out there, and in Tokyo alone there were already 20,000 freelance photographers as of 2010, but I think there are probably over 30,000 or 40,000 now. So, for people who are self-employed, the competition is even tougher and the unit price is getting cheaper and cheaper, so when that happens, you have to go somewhere. So you train and then you make your debut, and the timing of your debut is very important, where do you debut from, which magazine do you get featured in first, etc. Nowadays there are hardly any magazines anymore, but when I was working there, things like where you debuted, which studio you left from, and which photographer you worked with were all very important, but nowadays that sort of thing has pretty much disappeared, and even famous photographers are increasingly not taking on personal assistants, so when that happens it seems like the only way to get ahead is through your talent, and I think that the current situation is that social media and things like your own outreach are becoming the main things. So in order to make it on your own, I think it’s important to post your own good work on social media and such, but professional photography doesn’t always end up becoming that kind of work, so I think you have to approach it from your own perspective, on a project basis, and create your own work. I’ve participated in group stores twice so far , and I’ve also done classics. I think it was in 2014, when I did my first classics exhibition, and when you have an exhibition, all kinds of people come, like editors , ADs, etc., and you say hello, hand out your business cards, get in touch with them, get points, and go and show them your book. I made that kind of effort and built relationships, and I was able to get some work from there. I became independent after that, and as for breaking away from client work, that’s what I’m doing now, but I’m in the final phase now and I’m thinking of pretty much stopping client work altogether, so when that happens, it means I have to make a living from the work I create, since I basically won’t be taking on any new orders, and that’s quite difficult, so as for what I’m going to do, I’m probably thinking about releasing a video about my side job next time, but as I said earlier, the only thing I can do is create my own work and get it out to people, so I guess that’s how it is. Speaking for myself, I’ve been doing my own personal photography and work while belonging to production companies, and that’s how I became independent, so I think that’s one thing, and that’s where I want to put my efforts into taking photographs, If you do that job at the same time , the work that you can control will branch out from that job and the number of areas will increase, so you can develop those in parallel, or you can say you’re nurturing them. In my case, I’ve been doing it steadily like that. I ‘ve been doing it for about 15 years now, but times have changed a lot since then, and recently it’s become more based on SNS, and there ‘s also the issue of AI causing prices to fall rapidly, so in the end I think it’s important to figure out what kind of things you want to take and what kind of artist you want to be as. So, if there’s a genre or direction that you want to take , I think I can talk about that in detail, so please feel free to ask any questions. With that membership, you can go into more detail about the business side of things, or about your own photography and creativity, -We’re talking about relationships and creation, so maybe this person is also included, but if you’re interested, if you could go in there and ask questions, I think I can explain it in more detail in writing. Thank you, I’ll continue. Radio name is Jam Hey Hey, let’s chat. This is the person who listened to me last time, isn’t this the same person? The other day, thank you for telling me your monthly expenses, I never thought it would be 400,000 yen a month, I was surprised. I found your video and watched it. It was interesting to see how you spend your money in such an extreme way. I will also send you my expenses. I would appreciate it if you could give me some advice gently. By the way, I think that the main cause of the big problem is daily necessities. I bought a lot of things online to improve my quality of life, and the larger purchases of daily necessities are tax-deductible. Please write the amount from here. I replaced my smartphone for 38,000 yen. I used the previous model for 4 years and it started to work. Due to a rating issue, panel carpet cost 20,000 yen to put on top of the flooring, new clothes cost 17,000 yen, and of that, new shoes cost 7,000 yen due to a size increase due to obesity, and I want black laceless shoes, so the average expenses from January to May were 30,000 yen for rent, 7,000 yen for electricity, 5,000 yen for gas, 3,000 yen for water, 6,000 yen for communication costs, 29,000 yen for food, 28,000 yen for daily necessities, 5,000 yen for hospitality, and 5,000 yen for entertainment, for a total of 118,000 yen, and the goal is 100,000 yen. Thank you for the figure. I don’t think there’s any problem with this at all, or rather, it depends on how you calculate it . When I wrote that it was 400,000 yen per month, this was calculated as an annual average, so in the end I think I was talking about including all the business-related expenses, so that’s why it looks so inflated. In the case of this flat-rate calculation , the larger amounts for daily necessities were a smartphone replacement for 38,000 yen and a panel carpet for 20,000 yen. So leaving clothes aside for a moment, clothes and shoes aside for now, things like replacing your smartphone or panel carpets should be treated as special expenses such as equipment costs or home appliances, so basically, if you look at your cash flow, it’s completely safe. So you have to think of special expenses separately . If you think of things like large home appliances and furniture, home appliances, home renovations, and the like, as separate items for beds, and if you set aside a budget for those in advance and use it, there’s nothing to be afraid of. The problem is, of course, that includes rent, but the average is high for food costs, entertainment costs, and social expenses, so if you spend too much and money starts going out, it’s dangerous. So, first of all, how to keep track of your household budget will differ from person to person, but basically it’s important to look at your cash flow, and it’s based on how much money comes in on that day and how much goes out in that month. If the amount going out is less than that, then you’ll have a surplus, which you can save or invest, and if that happens, then you’ll win. So, if you take the average amount, that’s an average for three months, or the average for May or five months, or from January to May, and if you can keep it down to this amount, then your rent would be 30,000 yen, I don’t think it’s in Tokyo, but I think it’s 30,000 yen. Electricity is 7,000 yen, gas is 5,000 yen , and water is 5,000 yen, so water and high temperature utilities are 15,000 yen. You didn’t say whether you live alone, but you may have a family, but if you live alone, I feel like your electricity bill is a little high for electricity and gas. Even so, I think you should keep your high temperature utilities to around 20,000 yen, and they’ve been expensive recently, so 15,000 yen is just right, isn’t it? The rent is kept down extremely, which is amazing, and communication fees are also 6,000 yen, which is probably a bargain. 6,000 yen for phone calls and internet costs means it’s pretty cheap, and food costs are 29,000 yen, so I guess they cook a lot at home, so 29,000 yen is pretty cheap. Daily necessities are 28,000 yen a month, and this probably includes the cost of the smartphone stand and the panel carpet I mentioned earlier, so it comes to 28,000 yen, so if you remove that, how much would it be? If you remove that, I don’t think it would be that much. The cost of daily necessities wouldn’t go up that much, right? And medical expenses and hospital costs are 5,000 yen, and entertainment expenses are also kept to 5,000 yen, so I think it’s extremely minimal. So looking at this alone I think it’s a wonderful household account book. So, as a piece of advice, I think you need to hack the way you keep track of your household accounts a little more, and treat the things you treat as special expenses as special expenses. It’s treated as a separate expense to maintain cash flow , so my calculation of 400,000 yen includes all of that, so it has ballooned to that extent, but my own expenses are still within 200,000 yen, and that includes special expenses, travel expenses, and the like, so it’s like travel expenses, and I often go to various places to shoot for YouTube, my own projects, and work, and in my case, when I shoot in a studio, I pay the studio fees and I have to pay in advance, so if you include those things, it does balloon up, but if you remove that, it becomes quite compact, so in fact, it’s quite basic, and the most important thing is fixed costs, but the fixed costs have been kept down, and food expenses and things like that have also been kept down much lower than average, so I think that’s really good. That’s why I can give you that advice. I feel like there’s almost nothing like that, and it’s good that you’ve written down your goal properly . You want to keep it down to 100,000 yen, and I think if you remove the special expenses like the smartphone stand I mentioned earlier, it will probably stay under 100,000 yen, so if you ‘ve managed to keep it down this well, I think that’s great, really . So thank you for actually sending it to me. Next , I received this from radio name Nakata. The other day, when I went back to my parents’ house for the first time in a while, my mother dropped a straight bombshell on me, saying that it’s about time to find someone good. She said that being alone is fine, but in old language, it’s probably more reassuring to have someone with you, and I understand that, but it just doesn’t feel right for me. For now, the rhythm of living alone, the amount of stuff I can’t imagine a marriage where the distance between people is just right and it would fundamentally change that. I’m a man, so I thought I could manage on my own, but sometimes I wonder if I should just leave him alone like this. Mr. Tokimaru, have you ever thought about marriage when thinking about old words and your future? And now, about your future, do you plan to continue living on your own, or do you feel like if it’s fate, someone will join you? If you don’t mind , I’d like to hear that. So thank you, it’s a difficult question, isn’t it? So when I went back to my parents’ house, my mother would say to me, “Is there a good person around now ?” “I think I’ve been told that quite a bit, but for some reason, she hasn’t said that to me recently.” But yeah, it does happen and when friends and such say it I feel like it’s none of my business or anything but when your mother or family say it you do think it’s a bit much and it’s like, yeah, so that’s how it is and I understand that old-fashioned way of saying it’s more reassuring to have someone with you and as you’ve written just now, the rhythm of living alone and the amount of stuff you have and the distance from people are all just right and I can’t imagine marriage changing that so fundamentally but sometimes I wonder if I’m just going to leave her alone like this and I totally agree with you yeah, I feel the same way when people say things like that So I feel like I’m in a really good rhythm, but sometimes I wonder if I’ll leave them alone, and it’s exactly the same thing. Actually, I’ve had same-sex partners before, so there was a time when I wondered if I should get married, but in the end it didn’t work out, so I’ve had quite a pseudo- married life. So, I think that if you don’t have children, there’s no point in getting married. Well, if you don’t have children, it doesn’t really matter whether you ‘re married or not, and things get complicated with the law, so of course , I think there is a way of thinking that it’s like horsepower and helps the household finances, but there are also laws on the division of assets and so on, and there’s a book by Mr. Fujisawa , I think it was Mr. Fujisawa Kazu, called Marriage that’s a loss, Divorce that’s a profit, and if you haven’t read it I would definitely recommend you do so, the title is Marriage that’s a loss, Divorce that’s a profit, so marriage is a loss and divorce is profitable , and when it comes to profiting from divorce, who makes a profit? Well, the party that doesn’t have the assets makes a profit, and there’s a law about the division of assets, and when there’s a division, the party that has the assets has to share them with the party that doesn’t have the assets, and so that’s how Japanese laws are, so basically, If you’re in that kind of situation, then of course serious problems will come up and all sorts of things will come up, so if you think that the rhythm of living alone now, and the amount of stuff you have, is just right, then I think you should just continue the way you are. The time will come, and if it doesn’t, then it’ll feel like it never came, so in the end, even if you get anxious and do all sorts of things, you’ll only end up regretting it. Speaking of myself, I want to continue living alone, but I also think that if it’s fate, I’d be interested in being with someone, so I think both, but I don’t really think about it that deeply. Well, since I started doing that yoga, I definitely did change, or rather, I don’t really want to blame it on the yoga, but somehow, my anxiety gradually disappeared, it’s a strange thing, but I do think that anxiety, anxiety when you’re alone is something that everyone has, but at the same time, there are things that you can only do alone, and also , even if you don’t get married, you can still create relationships with the people around you, your own community, and relationships, and of course, a family is a very strong community, and it’s bound by law and also by blood, so once you have children, it feels like a very strong community, a strong family, but I think that there might be a different way of being to that, and so I’ve always thought that people often talk about missing out on that opportunity, but I don’t think about that at all, so, how should I put it, I think there’s a possibility that I’ll get married when I’m in my 60s or 70s, and even if someone told me that I couldn’t do that, I wouldn’t care at all It’s not that I’ve done it, or rather, if I couldn’t do it, then that’s the state I was in, or rather the state I am in, so because of that I have no anxiety at all, and so I’m doing yoga, and so, how should I put it, even if I get married, it’s not like the anxiety of living alone, or the anxiety of old-fashioned words, doesn’t disappear, rather, once you get married and have something, you become very scared of losing it, and you become afraid of losing, and that ‘s when a different kind of fear begins, like losing a child, losing a wife, losing a husband, and so on, those kinds of fears are always there, so in any case, the anxiety and fear won’t go away, no matter what you do, even if you get married, it won’t go away, and even if you don’t, it won’t go away, so I think it’s important that you take a fresh look at your current state and just live in a good, comfortable state, and within that, Nakata-san, there are times when you wonder if you can make it on your own, and the anxiety of leaving someone alone comes up, and that anxiety grows immensely, and if the fear of living alone grows immensely, then As a human instinct, you should probably naturally take action, and that would be to seek out a partner or get married, but if you don’t take that action, it means you’re terrified, and you do n’t take it that seriously. So you think you can just get by somehow, in your mind , and the trap of the modern world is that there is a structure that paralyzes such thoughts , and that is that our social infrastructure has really developed to the point where each and every person can enjoy anything and everything. We have created a society where you can live without any inconvenience, so I think that fear has been softened, and the feeling that it’s okay to be alone is probably getting stronger and stronger, and I think that this is quite a trap, so I think that to an extent that our human senses and animal senses have become numb, so in times like these, it is important to get away from the modern social system , and so the activities that I do at times like these are going into the mountains, going alone to visit villages, traveling, etc. So, if you step away from that social situation, you start to see a different side of yourself, and you start to think about what you really want, what you’re really scared of, and your fears. So, it might not be a very good answer, but I’ve had those kinds of old-fashioned conversations and thought about the future and getting married , and there was a time when I was actually living a pseudo-married life, and after going through all of that, I’ve decided that I prefer to be alone, and so I find myself in this situation where I keep talking in an empty room, and so I think from now on I’ll live alone, and if fate allows, I’ll be with someone. It feels like I haven’t really decided yet, yeah, not deciding is quite important, because once I decide something, I’m bound by it, my actions and my consciousness, so I don’t decide, it’s like I ‘m living like I’m walking a tightrope in that really ambiguous grey area, not white, not black, not black, yeah, that’s what it feels like, the atmosphere is like, so it’s quite important not to lean towards one or the other and not make decisions , I feel like recently, everyone is making too many decisions, if this doesn’t work out then I ‘ll do this, should I get married or not, and I think everything in 01, it’s already a digital world, I’m an AI It’s like my thought process is like that, so even if it’s not like that, there is a really vague feeling, and there is a huge gradation of grey between white and black, so I don’t make a decision without being conscious of that, I decide not to make a decision, or rather, that’s the feeling I have.I may have made it even more confusing just now, but that’s all I can say for now.Thank you for your letter.Your valuable opinions have really made me think a lot, so thank you for this.So, that’s all for today’s letter, and I would like to do the comment reading radio, or rather the comment reading corner, which I wasn’t able to do last time, so The comments weren’t even read out so recently I was like, how far have I gone, how far have I gone, so I’ll go from recent things to going back to the past, I’ve been practicing Kaiju and other songs and singing them over and over again, I’ve finally reached the other side of it, this universe is going to change, or something like that, it’s really true, that was the first time I sang it too, yes it was the first time I sang it, I’d never read the lyrics with that kind of feel before, so it was the first time I saw it, and so I did, and it really did feel like the universe was changing, or something like that , it was like a phase had changed, and when I looked at the lyrics again they were completely different to when I’d heard them, and it made me realise the depth of the song, or how difficult it is, and what’s interesting about it is that I only knew this song from Tokimaru Tanaka Junior High School and It was an anime I started watching without knowing anything about it, and every time Marutanaka was scattered, it took me a while to get used to it, yeah, there’s something like that, you know, without knowing the original, you hear the song of someone who often imitates it, and that’s what sticks in your mind , you know, I think it’s unique to the internet age, maybe this is really a phenomenon unique to the internet age, I love the gag videos of the single, 30-year-old, extremely invincible old man, I don’t know if that’s a compliment or a diss, but to me it’s a great compliment, yeah, the single, 30- year-old, extremely invincible old man, yeah he’s going to keep coming, he’s becoming more and more invincible, it’s dangerous, really the longer you’re single, or rather the more you have nothing, the more dangerous it becomes, so the gag videos are mostly gag videos It’s just an image , so other than this radio radio everything is like that For me it’s quite a joke video Even when I put on a serious face I’m always joking around I say joking things with a serious face so please be careful Someone has written that they hope this video will reach Yamaguchi Ichiro one day I hope it does, but even if it does reach him they’ll be like “What is this?”, and when it does reach him they’ll be like “You’re Ichiro”, Mr. Mouse and Mr. Cookie are amazing, these one-line comments are always great In the comments on the last radio show someone wrote that they wanted the No No Boys to let the old lady win too I think it was something like “Is it okay if the old lady gets involved too?” I think that’s wrong though , but you’re more than welcome, it’s just my brain, it’s not relevant anymore So gender or age doesn’t matter, so No No Boys, but the original group over there is No No Girls, so I just say Boys, and yes, we are very welcome. Yes, it would be interesting to have a No No Boys audition, wouldn’t it be interesting to gather people who have nothing, and if they were to have a bag or something the moment they walked into the audition, well, it’s been about half a year since I met Tokimura Marumura, and I always enjoy watching them. Are you thinking about holding a talk event or something like that in the future? I’m sure there are many people who would like to experience your overflowing humor for themselves. What do you think about all minimalists? I’d be happy to hear your opinions, so yes, I am thinking about doing a face-to-face event, and if I’m asked, I’d like to do one, but maybe myself So I might plan it, and I feel that the seeds or the soil are in my membership, so I would like to move forward in a planned manner, so I would really appreciate your support when that happens , but normally when you meet people, there are some who aren’t funny at all, right? Well, on YouTube, the videos that people post are quite silly, they’re showing off, so if it was just normal, people might think, ” Wow, this guy isn’t funny at all,” and that’s a bit of a problem. I ‘ve started broadcasting radio shows via podcast, but the noise from the refrigerator running and other things are picked up by the Shure microphones. Tokimaru-san , do you do anything to deal with this kind of white noise? I received a message from you asking, and I also So we’ve taken some light countermeasures, such as turning off the air conditioning, closing the windows and sealing them up, and taking other noise-reduction measures. As for the noise that the refrigerator makes, as I mentioned in the refrigerator video, my refrigerator doesn’t make that noise. As I mentioned in the video, this compact refrigerator is surprisingly quiet, and I think that’s great. Most of the refrigerators I’ve used up until now for single-person households make a subtle buzzing sound from the thermostat , and microphones are particularly good at picking up these sounds. I think there’s also the issue of frequency, so it’s probably quite difficult, because once you turn off the refrigerator, it starts making noise again. It takes time for it to start working after you put it in, and it uses freon gas, so they say it’s not good for the body, so if you frequently plug and unplug it, it’s probably not easy to just unplug the refrigerator, so if your refrigerator is noisy, I think I’d probably do some post-processing like turning on some noise canceling or something like that. I always wonder what this person is saying, but I ‘m convinced that he is the most reliable minimalist, hiding his differences from other business minimalists. This and this is good, I don’t know if he’s praising me or criticizing me , but to me it’s a huge compliment, thank you, what am I saying , I even wonder myself when I watch my own videos, what is he talking about So I thought, who is this, is it you? Yes, is it you? Yes, who is this? I thought of this guy who was talking nonsense, but then he said, “It’s Maru Tanaka” and then he said, “It’s me ,” and I think that’s quite true, there are many different styles, so I’m a real person, you know, I’m real, so it’s a little difficult to be a business minimalist, but I also earn money from YouTube, so I might basically become a business minimalist, and I’m also doing memberships and stuff, so I’d like you to join that as well, I’m asking you, Shimi-san, in that sense I’m also doing business, and I can’t survive without business, and I can’t continue this activity, so that’s important, but, of course, I don’t think of myself as doing business that much , I just want to share what I like, what I’ve noticed, and what I ‘m practicing, in a fun and interesting way, and that’s what I’m more interested in . lovemilkwithsealyou canbuycartoonsyou keepinacutboardIt’s notpossiblebutnoteasyMysisterhasacouplesizefridgeandworkswellWorkswellforherI’m getting a little tired and not getting around, but yes, in the UK, you can change the cheese powder in a small container that doesn’t need to be kept in the fridge, and if you like to put milk on your cereal, you can change something that you can store in the cupboard, and it’s not impossible but it’s not easy, yes, my sister has a city-sized fridge and that’s enough, and I ‘ve received a comment from the UK, so I guess it depends on the culture, and the culture, and the prefecture and where you live , and there are quite a few different ways to do it, and yes, cheese that doesn’t need to be kept in the fridge, and it’s certainly a fermented food, and I guess that’s why it’s become like a preserved food, and there are fewer countries where the electricity is 100% passed through and you can use the refrigerator as much as you want. Maybe we should think about it. If we look at it on a global level, yes, like gas, in Japan the infrastructure is so developed that you can use gas anywhere all year round, but in most rural areas, or in other countries, it’s propane , so in that sense, I think Japan ‘s infrastructure is just too amazing, or rather, it’s too well-organized. Good evening, I lost my refrigerator and bed so I can now dance in my room . Can you recommend some one-room dance music ? I received this from Takamichi Osamu. Congratulations. You lost your refrigerator and bed so you can now dance in your room. That’s amazing. One-room dance music is difficult. Anyway , If you play Equal Jackson or My Col Jackson you’ll be fine, and I also like Blue Mars and there’s a song called Blue Mars Treasure which is quite catchy and I think it ‘s good for one-room dance music. I usually dance to techno or house music which is a bit club-like. I also recommend dancing to songs that are difficult to dance to, like Sharan-class ‘Zurui Onna’. Songs like that where you can sing and dance at the same time are great for one-room dance music so please give it a try. I’m breathing, Mitchie. Yes , everyone is breathing. Sometimes you’re just breathing. Like, I’m not really breathing at all. Thank you for your comment It’s important, isn’t it? Whether you’re breathing or not is quite important, yeah, I tend to forget quite a lot, so I want to say to myself now, I guess even when I’m filming like this, I quite forget to breathe, so I want to say to myself now, hello, what’s the name of the rhythmic song in the opening? When I heard it this morning, I thought I could dance and have fun doing housework, so this is it, I wonder what I played at the time, I don’t remember, sorry, it’s a video introducing three small carrying tricks for minimalist movement techniques, yeah, but it was definitely a bit like a bossa scene, something like minimal techno, I think, but I don’t remember the name of the station, sorry, Canyouteachus about minimalismWho are beginners and new to thisWe want to adopt and practice minimalismSo, I would like you to teach me about minimalism and I would like to try practicing minimalism.If you watch my past videos , I think I’ve talked about minimalism so much that you might get bored of it, but even though it’s called minimalism, there are so many different ways to look at it, and I feel like there’s no end to it . There are so many different ways to look at it, and it ‘s not just about reducing the amount of stuff you own, minimalism can be applied to anything, so it’s difficult to talk about it in general terms, but I think it’s mostly covered in the videos I’ve uploaded in the past, and there are quite a few meetings where I talk about the basics of minimalism, so I would be happy if you could take a look at those.In the comments on Luna Sandal, someone asked if the flowers on Luna Sandal hurt, and that’s right, there’s actually quite a few It’s been about a month and I haven’t had any pain at all so I’ve been wearing them a lot and I’ve been running in them and they don’t hurt my shins at all and the skin doesn’t peel or get scratched so I’m running normally at about 5km a day although I’ve taken a bit of a break since I hurt my lower back a bit and I’m still walking normally and I can walk 100km in them I think I’ve been walking about that much in total, probably in terms of distance, and even though I thought it would be about time, it never came, so I think it’s because they fit my feet really well and the fabric on the nose part is quite soft. I was able to switch from the Zero Shoes to the Luna Sandals without any stress. In fact, the foam is finally sinking in and the fit is getting better and better, making it easier to walk in. I feel like these are the only shoes I’ll be wearing this summer, and not having to wear socks is the best. As for socks , when I put on shoes, they usually get dirty so I have to wear socks, but then I have to wash them every time and hang them out to dry , so when I go on trips or other trips, I end up with more luggage, so being able to just go barefoot is really nice. I can’t throw things away and I can’t put them away. I received this from a low-level temporary worker who asked me to make a video , so I’m going to make one next time. I want to make a video to give people who can’t reduce their workload. Well, I don’t want to declare this here because it might seem like pressure, but anyway, I’m going to make this. Yes, I just want to make a video to give people who can’t reduce their workload. I had made the time list my goal, but I can only play on the floor for an hour. I wanted to incorporate my own originality into it, so Mako -san, you’re absolutely right. I can only play on the floor for an hour. That’s the same for me, too. I thought an hour wasn’t that long, but I usually get bored of it after five minutes, so I actually get bored after five minutes, but if you can play for an hour, that ‘s quite an impressive thing. But even if you say the floor, when Mayo is playing, time passes in the end. About an hour, about an hour and a half passes, so if you include that, Originality is important, I think, no matter what you do, and not just minimalism . Originality has to come from deep within your heart, and you have to identify what it is that you really want to do. But recently, a lot of people don’t have that, and if you just engage in passive consumption, it tends to be the case that you can’t come up with anything you want to do, and at times like that, you have to go out and get information on your own, and digest it internally. Or, the things I do are things like traveling, meeting new people , reading books, and even reading books on subjects that you wouldn’t normally read, and I try to do things like that randomly, and I think that kind of thing becomes important as you get older, as you get older you want to take on more adventures, It’s gone, isn’t it? I think that even recently I haven’t taken any risks, but when I go out with friends, I try to choose options that I wouldn’t normally take, and I might order something that I wouldn’t normally order, and even though I might make mistakes, I find that it’s more fun that way, and I enter a fun phase, and I don’t just go along with the predetermined pattern. I think that this is fundamentally connected to the way I live my life, not following a predetermined pattern, like working as an office worker and working at the same company until retirement. I guess it all comes down to that , but in order to do that, I think it’s important to have an attitude of constantly looking for new things and your own originality, day in and day out . That ‘s what I think, and coincidentally, a similar comment said, “ I’m shifting from a to-do to a to- be mindset. I feel like I’m able to make choices and take actions that I’m satisfied with. ” This comment has a lot in common with the previous comment, and strangely enough, there’s a shift from “to-do” to “I have to do” to “ be,” to “it” and “to-be,” to “I am here” and “I want to be like this .” I think in the end, it’s about what state you want to be in. I got a comment on a video from quite a while ago, and it was a video of Warren Buffett talking about wanting to let go of his old skin . If you close your eyes and listen to this, Hiroshi Abe says, “I want to let go of my old skin.” ` `I think it’s nice that he leaves behind one word.” And it has nothing to do with that video. I mean, I left things that are completely unrelated to the content of the video, so I’m grateful just to receive comments like that. Thank you. So, I think I’ve pretty much caught up on everything. Yes, I think I’ve pretty much caught up on everything. I feel like I’ve probably caught up on this much, somehow. In my mind, yeah, yeah, so I’d like to wrap up today’s radio show here. It’s getting pretty hot already, so I’d like to ask you about your plans for the summer, interesting sights you’ve seen recently, funny things, interesting and scary things, love advice, advice on your worries, minimalism issues, problems you’re facing, things you want to do in the future, your dreams for the future. Please send anything in via the question box. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for watching until the end today. It’s still the middle of the week, but let’s make this a good week. Thank you for watching until the end. See you next time . My back hurts, my back hurts, my back hurts, my back still hurts

    ここ最近はAI音声の1分映画紹介的な動画が多く流れてきて、気になった映画をフルで見るというサイクルが生まれています。
    実際、その映画を見る機会を与えてくれたショート動画には感謝をしていますが、複雑な気持ちです^^;
