MIYO’S DECISION! | My Happy Marriage Season 2 Episode 13 Reaction

Hey beautiful people. Welcome back to Two Cents Beat. My name is Sidi and today we are checking out the final episode of season 2 of My Happy Marriage. All right. So, this was the episode that was delayed. Don’t mind the cats in the background. They’re playing with their toys. Um, okay. So, Mio and Kiyoka have defeated Na Naoshi Usui. Um, he is dead. Like, which honestly was kind of more than what I was expecting. I had a feeling that that was the only way his character was going to have a conclusion, a satisfying conclusion, but I didn’t think the series would actually have the guts to do it. So, I was pleasantly pleased last episode. Unfortunately, Arata is hurt, so we got to deal with that, as well as whatever is to come now that the emperor has been retrieved and is safe. So, we do still have quite a bit of wrap-up for this episode, but I am expecting like a little bit of a slower episode, like just, you know, tying up loose ends, finishing off whatever is rest the rest of this mission could potentially be. I don’t know. Maybe maybe setting things up for next season cuz next season, season 3, has been officially announced. Yay. I don’t I don’t know. I don’t really know. I mean, actually, I guess technically they’re not even really married, so maybe next season we’ll be actually diving into their marriage. I don’t know. I don’t know. How about we just jump on into this episode and see where the story wraps up for season 2. But before we do, don’t forget to like and subscribe if you haven’t already. As you know, it helps a ton with the [Music] algorithm. And it didn’t work. I mean, I would kind of argue he kind of did it to himself, too. Like that was consequences of his own actions, you know, but whatever. You know, he’s the one that took the knife and Right. So, oh my god, we’re just time skipping. Okay. Oh. [Music] Oh, I guess that’s true. Season 3 could just be like her getting to her gaining control of her powers and all that. He’s resigning. Wait, why? It’s gonna be um Oh, it’s got I mean, I guess cross his arms. He’s being serious. Whoa, he’s trying to resign. What the hell? Oh my god, his [Music] hair. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Don’t get any ideas. No. Oh, she’s wearing the bow. Oh my god. Oh my god. What is so from then? Okay, so that clears that up. I mean, tell that took. She’s like, “Yeah, she’s not going to argue with that cuz that’s Yeah, good. I’m glad she wasn’t like, “Oh, no. It’s okay.” or anything. Now she’s like, “Yeah, you’re right. That was bad.” Yeah, that’s right. Oh, he’s sitting up. That was weird. I Okay. Animation look funky. Funky. these two. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my [Music] god. The fact that it matches the bow too. Oh. Oh, it probably burned. Oh, I knew it. Oh my gosh, they match. Their outfits match. Okay, so time is just time is just passing. Okay. All right. Uhoh. Oh. Uhoh. He’s got a mission. Uhoh. Why are people butting in? Oh, okay. I was going to say, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. But okay, okay. Or I mean, she can’t I feel like she can’t say no. I don’t know. I don’t know how I feel about that. Mhm. Cuz then that means she’s going to have to be taking orders from the emperor, I guess. Yeah. I don’t know how I feel about that. No, I mean I guess just [Music] doesn’t remember back in season one when he was just like kind of the dorky character and now look at him. Oh my goodness. He has grown so much. Oh, he hadn’t told her. Oh, sir. I guess they had talked about that. Yeah. Yeah. The series did mention that must be right. Wow. [Music] Wow. Oh my goodness. Goodness. Oh, don’t tell me they’re just going to like retire or something. feels a little awkward, but so she’s going to reject it like, “No, I won’t work for you. I wish they would say how much time has passed though. I mean, you did stuff. Oh. Oh, that was smooth. No, be [Music] selfish. Huh? It’s like Okay. Okay. Okay. Initially, I thought she was going to accept it. Huh? But what if you can’t have peaceful really. Oh, okay. I mean, I kind of changes. Oh, I guess that’s one way of putting that. Not anymore. I’m surprised. I feel like something’s going to end up like forcing them. Oh, it’s just Okay. Like something’s going to force them into like the Imperial Palace, I’m sure. Oh, it’s pretty. Or maybe not. I don’t know. Like that’s it’s not what the story is about. So if she Yeah, I don’t know. H little charms. She made a new one. was going to be blue instead of purple. I guess is that lavender? I don’t know. Wow. Oh. Oh my goodness. Oh, and the sunlight behind them. Stop. She She run away. She said it. Oh my god. I stay Kokasa. Hi. Oh my goodness, that is so cute. In the back of my head, I keep waiting for something to happen though. Like something’s going to go ary. No. Okay, I guess not. Okay. So, while I think we got a satisfactory ending for this season, like they were being all cute and in love and loveydovey, whatever, right? Not whatever. I loved it. It was great. But also, it feels like we kind of got a little bit of foreshadowing. Maybe. Maybe. I’m not. And see, I’m going back and forth. Like, I I can’t I can’t really decide if I like it or not. Like, on one hand, well, I guess on one hand, I feel like it’s going to happen because they mentioned it, right? And we’re we are getting a third season. So, I felt like they were setting up the situation for the third season. But on the other hand, I am not sure if I like it or not because it feels to me it feels like it’s stepping away from what this series has always been, which is just Mio and Kiyoka like which I guess even if there was a setting change, right? Even if Kyoka, even if Mio had accepted it from the beginning, it still could have been just Mio and Kyoka. But I I don’t know. I don’t know. She rejected the idea, the proposal. So, I feel like that’s how the story should continue going. Like, that’s what I want to happen. But in the back of my head, I can’t help but worry that at some point next season, they are going to be forced into creating this this whole like system or whatever they were talking about, right? And it’s going to be like out of their control, which I guess I guess in a sense like test their relationship even more cuz that’s that’s the whole point, right? Is just their relationship. I just I guess with this series where Mio hasn’t always had the most agency and she kind of like she the way she put it at the very end was like perfect. She doesn’t want to be basically pulled around by her ability. This was the moment where she had the most agency in this series. This is one of the moments where she had the most agency in this series. I want this series to like respect it, you know? like I don’t want it to like go against her. But at the same time, that’s what makes series good is that, you know, characters want stuff and then doesn’t necessarily happen or it goes ary or whatever. So, I don’t know. Basically, Mio must be protected. And I don’t know if the series is going to do that or not. Like it would be cool to see Mio being Mio and her abilities being tested and you know developed, but that’s not what she wanted. That’s not what she wants. So I don’t know. Either way, that’s not going to be an issue until season 3 comes around, which we haven’t really had an announcement for it or we don’t have a date announced for it yet. It was just announced that it’s in the works or whatever. that’s not going to be an issue for a while. Overall, I feel like this is a really sweet episode. I I enjoyed how how I don’t want to say slow. Like, yes, we they talked about the situation with Usui, but it never felt like rushed or anything. There was no urgency in this episode really. It just felt like a good breather for these characters. And I just want it to stay that way. I don’t want them going through any more trials or anything. I just want them to be happy. But no, I said I wasn’t going to be thinking about it cuz that’s season 3 stuff anyway. Yeah, this episode was really great. I like this episode. It was good. I feel like it was a good way a good wrap-up for this season. I love seeing Mio stand her ground like just just being like no I don’t want this and I’m going to say no like that’s such huge character development especially from the first season. So I think that is that that moment is what made this episode like fantastic is just Mio seeing Mio um being confident. Does that mean that season 3 is gonna push that confidence? Maybe. I don’t know. I don’t know. It was a good episode. Um, looking forward to season 3 whenever that gets released.
