Ahhh, the "Flower" (Ka) in the name also goes back to the explanation of the characters on the flag (referring to the country's name, 茘 Li — 3 swords under the flower).
"Flower" meaning the great first Empress of the country. Recall the episode regarding the trial of being a descendant of the Empress lineage (the color-blindness test).
Recall also Basen's explanation to Maomao about the "larger sword" character below the "flower" meaning the Northern country (the venue of the Hunt).

Why do I feel like if Maomao says Jinshi's real name, she will unlock Bankai.

I mean jinshi should tell her as soon as possible, the fact that she is lakan daughter, she have social status that actually bit higer than everyone, and emperor seems approved her relationship with jinshi… It meant in emperor mind she probably will be next empress to jinshi since jinshi actually emperor real son.
Maomao is a scientist so naturally she is curious. Ultimately she tells Jinshi she will be loyal, but that is only part of what he wants from her. Maomao just wants to live a good long life. Don’t forget Maomao has always said it was too bad Jinshi was a eunuch as he is an extremely beautiful man. Soooooo, blown away with all this new evidence about who Jinshi may be, sensations and emotions she has never experienced before begin to develop. Of course the dog and ox bezoar delay any further relationship between she and Jinshi, but the writers are great and the whole sequence is extremely funny! 😊
Jinshi the frog prince
In the English LN translation she calls his “frog” adequate which I found a lot funnier than the subtitle translations here 😂. Also Lihaku asks Maomao what she’s doing with someone so important versus just asking her “what are you doing with him”. He also whispers it to her as he is acting very professional in front of the Moon Prince. Just a few a few differences which I am not sure if they were changed in the translation from the original Japanese 🤷🏽♀️
