What will be the fate of Jinx, Vi, Jayce, Viktor, and the rest of our Season 1 cast? Christian Linke and Alex Yee did an interview with BAFTA outlining the structure for Arcane moving forward, but the full VOD was deleted and only an abridged version is still available on Youtube. With the help of excerpts of this interview, League of Legends lore, and, most importantly, deductions made from the characters’ Season 1 arcs, we can actually predict quite a lot about each character’s trajectory in Arcane’s next season. Will Piltover fall to Zaun? To Jinx? To Noxus? Lots of exciting possibilities to sort out!

If you are predicting Swain, I think predicting LeBlanc as his puppet master pulling the strings in Noxus and world events is very plausible. Those two are very interconnected in terms of plot, and Swain is more of a figurehead LeBlanc allowed to rise to power so that the Black Rose would have political power. If not Season 2, then for sure Season 3 I'd wager that LeBlanc will make her debut as the mastermind behind Jayce's political plot line.

pretty sure that all of the council dies aside from jayce and victor. based on trajectory, the rocket would have hit the opposite side of the room from jayce. I think this is going to cause jayce to be the only remaining councilman, which then allows him to promote people to the council on his own whim. I think that would cause him to appoint people with similar mindsets as himself, meaning that cait, vi, victor, and others would join him. On the other hand, singed is going to be the remaining power in the underworld, and him leveling up with chemtech and what not is going to turn him into the undisputed king of the underworld while he creates his monstrosities like warwick, urgot, etc. This might turn ekko into the person that leads a third party that is against the violence, but can't put a stop to anything that is happening. "boy hero,"
You forgot about the promise that Vander told Vi to take care of Powder. If Vander is Warwick then somehow he reminds Vi to take care of Powder
"In season 2 we will see resolutions for EVERY character arc"😭😭 dont scare me. I thought we'd have at least 3 seasons with them. S1 being the set up, watching it play out it 2, and conclude in s3.
How are they going to make Vi a Enforcer in just one more season? Maybe it will be implied at the end.

for cait becoming the sheriff: Maybe after whatever happens with Piltover/Zaun/Noxus, Cait gets the promotion, with Vi also getting into the police department officially cuz they did a major part of saving Piltover from Damage done by Jinx/Zaun/Noxus

I still think Vander as Warwick is a red herring. His story was complete in the first season in my opinion, and retreading old ground like how you describe would only take away from his character.
I think Vi will end up believing it's Vander due to them having the same moniker, but it will actually be Milo, a different ghost from the past. Followed by, and bear with me here, the reveal that Milo was Vander's son by birth, and him embracing the legacy of their father by becoming the hound he always envisioned, but couldn't become till now.
Super conspiratorial, but I'll die on this hill till the next season comes out. Where I'll likely be proven wrong.
We do see an airship exit from the clouds in the s2 trailer, maybe that’s the ship jinx hijacks 8:42
hearing him say all that stuff like at 8:58 is so painful now that we know there’s only gonna be two seasons
Noxus' involvement is probably related to their invasion in Ionia, which could easily lead next series to other regions promptly. Also, during this timeline (if the invasion is still not done) Swain is not a Noxian leader at all, but someone who goes to war and loses his arm there, makes a pact with the raven demon to get his badass lookin' new arm and use this power to overthrow Boram Darkwill and set the Trifarix into Noxian leadership.
As for Singed's daughter, we may finally get the reveal that his real name is Corin Reveck and he started his twisted medical carreer to save his child's life, who looks a lot like Orianna in the picture from his locket.
I think zero could be in season 2

Now that Jinx has embraced herself I would really like to see her attempt to bond with new people. As you said she is all alone and she is very much the embodiment of Zaun. On top of that she might actually have more control over her own mind now. It would be cool if she actively took steps on her own to be less alone and become a more active member of her community. I just hate seeing her being lonely I guess…
Viktor seems pretty set up to become a sort of HexTech-Healer as you said. I have no problem imagining that some people in Undercity will start treating him like a messiah. Thats how Jinx will hear about him.
While Jayce is the HexTech expert in Piltover, building the "clean"/expensive tech, there are now two HexTech experts in Undercity who have learned to use Hextech in much more unconventional ways. I can absolutely see Jinx and Viktor coming into contact over their shared expertise and develop insane guerilla-style hextech. I imagine hextech that is either engineered with very limited ressources to go boom in fun yet efficient ways (Jinx) or stuff that embraces magic as the natural force it is and fuses with organic matter (Viktor). I like both and I like the idea of Viktor and Jinx teaming up, even though Viktor will be very hesitant at first before his scientific curiosity takes over when he sees Jinx's work. We already saw him taking apart Jinx's grenade and being impressed.
They are both very funny, inventive, lonely characters who grew up in Undercity and made a pact with the devil to survive. And they express these characteristics in very different ways which would make them an interesting pairing. I dont think Viktor will approve of Jinx weaponizing HexTech, but he will be there and ready to defend Zaun alongside her. I think Viktors inner conflict will be centered around his desire to protect and hatred of inflicting harm. Think about it, Viktors signature weapon is a laser that is used to cause damage with surgical precision. I think he will turn himself into a precision machine of war to balance out Jinx's collateral damage, trying to harm as few as necessary to protect his home. This is also an excellent point of conflict between the two with at least a small possibility for Jinx to grow. Viktor gets along with Singed, why not add a second mad inventor? Or at least until he sees them both killing innocents and has to ask himself what path he put himself on.

Ok soooo coming back 2 years later with the new trailer and all, I was watching Schnee cause 1) love his work like omg dude your so smart, and 2) maybe I can piece something together for myself. Now I kind of have an idea of story beats for season two.
1) sorry to all the Victor fans, but Victor is soooooooo much worse than before, which is probably a given. But I think the missile fucked up his body so much worse that he HAD to make the god magic thing but that’ll probably be a problem for Jayce to solve lol
2) we all know Noxus is gonna be enemy number 1 (maybe two) in this season. I think first Vi and Jinx have their fight in the cave (’had to be you’ line) and try a recruit her to the cause but Jinx attacks Vi, Warwick appears for the second(?) time, jinx and Vi do something with Warwick, but probably fight him. They bond. Fight alongside against noxus.
3) I think the jinx blimp scene is the end of the season, like a happy little bow. They defeat Noxus, and Catylin becomes Mommy Dommy sheriff. Vi is second in command, and either Vi sneaks Jinx into the blimp with her new power, or with the bond somewhat healed between Catylin, Vi, and Jinx, they get her a blimp outta there so the public won’t feel the need to arrest her if she escapes.

A bit late to the video, but Im almost certain Ambessa wont die as she is going to be the new champ for league. Also, curious to see if she has any connections to Le Blanc, because if she does, that could lead to some interesting plot points and a possible conflict with Swain
Also, when it comes to the person filling the void in the undercity and replacing Silco, it could easily be Rennata, as she is basically the lol version of Silco, the Chem baroness running the undercity

Not only a natural warhawk but also out of her mind with rage and grief, refusing to listen to reason or diplomacy, "Anyone in my way is my enemy".

>Would cause alot of very "Arcane style" (Everyone kinda has a point, you cant really blame them even if you disagree) conflict between almost all the main characters; Blaming Jayce for Mels death due to hin not being decisive and acting to slowly, Jinx cuz she actually unalived Mel, Vi cuz Jinx is her sister, Cait cuz she want Jinx herself, Ekko cuz she would be wrecking havoc in the Undercity etc etc.
On top ot would cause conflict between Jayce and Vi which would cause even more conflict betweeb Vi and Cait.

I like Mel alot, as a character I dont want her to die.
But I think it would make for a better story if she did.
Same as Silco.
He is my favorite character by a mile and a hald, easy.
But he had to die, it made the storya thousand times better than if he didnt.

i have a feeling that mel is dead. i dont know if you guys have seen it yet but there is the preview of what jayce looks like and wow, he looks really depressed; its as if his life fell apart. a lot of things could contribute to the such as viktors potential death or the instability of hextech but i truly believe that the position in with she was placed (being right infront of the bomb) and also the fact that her death would cause a huge plot twist and could cause jayce to have character development. I really to like mel and i think shes such a cool character with an amazing backstory, but i think that the fact that her mother was in the trailer fighting alongside piltover, seemingly in a state of anger and revenge is definitely an indicator that she would want to avenge her daughter. i REALLLY hope she doesn’t die tho bc i love her loads🙁

Yk. After coming back to this and watching arc 1 for season 2 finally, I have a sudden feeling there may be a duality between Ambessa and Vander. They both are represented of the wolf, and whereas Ambessa’s personality shifts to one, Vander actually BECOMES one. And yet despite their looks, Vander (Warwick) is more human in personality while Ambessa is only human in looks.
And Ngl…I kinda get the vibe a fight between herself and Warwick could occur. A battle of wolves.
