www.mattbendocinema.com

Gold Bastard is a raw, visually striking film that explores the cost of greed and the lure of the untouchable. Shot on the evocative Cato Anamorphic Lenses, this is a tale where dreams dissolve into dust—and all that’s left is just some gold bastard.

  1. Fun stuff. How did you find the distortion? The walking shots definitely showcase the swimming edges pretty heavily but it didn't seem noticeable on any of the dolly pushes towards the subject. Overall, especially for the price they look like great lenses. I just wish the 125 was also at least a 2.8

  2. Unbelievable image at this price point for sure…but this short was awesome all by itself! Great work!
