Zero-One was so good, the only problems I have with it are the ZAIA story arc's competition, and Gai's apparently shortened character arc. Imagine what the latter could've been if Zero-One wasn't cut short because of CoVid.
Horobi decided to let Aruto finish him off because he realized (no pun intended) that this entire fight was meaningless. The game was rigged against them both.
