When I saw the thumbnail I was like oh my God yes finally it's getting a season 2. But then I soon realized it's a reboot. Hopefully we will see beyond what the last version left off at. But I'll still watch this.

The design is somewhat based on the manga version where characters are more comical. I personally like the strange design and voice acting of the first season. Some people said this is a reboot, but as someone who has been following the light novel, I can say the story shown in the trailer is more ahead. The part about what happens before the MC got isekai is also shown later in the novel rather than the beginning. The author has been focusing on the anime production in the past two years to push the show closer to what he envision. Hopefully, it will be good.
Season 2 is finally coming after all those years.

I liked seeing it the first time, what about the second. After all Spice and Wolf got a reboot that looked pretty good, I just hope this one is too.

前作は少ない予算で作画崩壊はしてた物の声優陣の演技力や監督力で良い作品に仕上がってた。
今回は、まおリトRってことで完全な作り直しとなる。原作者も作り直しを希望したのかもしれないが私的には最終回の「続け！」で続いてほしかった。
