Denken is probably the most manly mage in the series. All the build up about him being a sly and connive politician but only shows us him being 1. A grandpa who spoils younger people around him like they are his grandchildren 2. Manly af and duke it out in the end, 3. A fan of Frieren all along but didn’t show it until the end.
