I hate to admit it but, I agree! Not only are they at their BEST, but their APPEARANCE always seems to be awesome! When they're good, they look still look cool, but infantile at time, lol!
I think that is the only time Gamera was a villain, but in his 90's films, he "was" believed to be somewhat of a villain, (tho' he was actually the good one, but got no love, lol)
Actually for his 90s films Gamera was a hero he just turned into an anti-hero cuz of the Japanese military!!! And a few other Kaiju messing it up for him like Iris or Gyaos!!!

@Biderbeck Thanks, I'll send you a message here a bit later tonight, when I get back home. Man, when I was a kid I was really into these Japanese Monster flicks, and by far Gamera was my favorite. My Grandfather actually made me a toy Gamera in his woodshop! I wish I still had it now…it was my most prized toy as a kid!!! It was pretty simple…just a wooden "shell" with removable head and feet (so I could pretend he was tucked inside flying) My GFather wasnt much of an artist, so it was simple

@Biderbeck LOL! Speaking of Gamera toys There is a Vintage/Collectible Toy Shop here in my town, and one day I was in there, and I found a Gamera figure! I was so excited, but then when I asked how much I found out it was like 85 bucks!!!! Yikes! I guess Gamera is more popular than I realized! Anyway, check your inbox, Im sending you a message right after I write this.
@frankensteinmoneymac remind me to show you a couple of figures i have…the most expensive thing out is one made by trendmasters that shit was the bomb and i should have gotten it when it was just 10 bucks, now its a retarted price…but i got some stuff i'll show ya where to get a few 😀 LOL
@TheBoASlitherman ya know the original owners of Gamera, were working out a deal to put it together a few years ago. problem is Toho backed out, when the company changed hands they tried again but Toho once again backed out…its a damn shame too… i would have flown to japan to see it if they ever made it.
