I feel really bad for them. Aika suppressed her feelings for Sajo. Sajo was a pesterer; of course it will piss a girl, but his feelings towards Aika were genuine.
When Sajo suddenly decided to move on, Aika's sending mixed signals to him; no wonder so many are pissed about her character.
But man, he rizzed-up his senpais and also a middle schooler. Aika was in a race to mark her claim of Sajo.
In the end, both of them went through a character development: Sajo stopped his attitude of being annoying to Aika and Aika started to appreciate the person she can't afford to lose.
Fuuka is the best pair for him. She really looked-up to him and they get along pretty well.
