The Marvels had a catastrophic 87% box office drop off this weekend, but the news for Disney may be FAR worse than is known according to my Hollywood spies! Sources claim Disney spent much more in producing and promoting The Marvels than is generally known, and the losses associated with this Brie Larson disaster may be staggering! Here is what my spies have told me, but do bear in mind this is JUST a rumor, and take it with a grain of salt! #disney #marvel #themarvels

PLDM to Point and Laugh at Disney and their Marvel
So long, Walt Disney Corporation, we hardly knew ye
……so shorting the stock is a go?
"These Marvel shows and movies have been bad. What do we do?"
"I know, lets have less of these shows and movies, but with the same bad writing"
Brilliant strategy there
I guess The Marvels were not the bestest EVAR afterall!
Disney must not realize that it's no longer 2018-19 and they can no longer just shit out anything onto a screen and gross $1b
get wrecked
Disney is a prime example of what happens when the democrats and China work together. Failure after failure. I hope they go broke and turn to dust.
I am o done with the MCU!
Watching all this happening to Disney is the best thing they've put out in years. Maybe turn their shit show into a movie and it'll surely fill theater seats 👍
The way it sounded, that second figure was not marketing alone, but budget plus marketing. I find 400+ for marketing only to be a tall tale. I'd check for clarification.
I can't remember the last time I found Disney this entertaining. I could watch them lose truckloads of money far longer than they will be able to lose said truckloads of money.
Without watching, somewhere between $350-400 million dollars spent. Won't be surprised if its much higher.
Who really pocketed the so called Production costs? Disney is cleverly being skinned, butchered and sliced for sale. The board have bought cheap shares? Ready for a hostile takeover
No way they spent $400 million on marketing, simply not possible. I bet $400 million is the total cost production plus marketing. Regardless this passes Kathleen Kennedy's Indiana Jones 5 as the biggest money loser in movie history.
the disney company needs to get rid of the board bob iger and kk who is the worst of them all
Boycott disney until they go out of business
The single most important job of any leader, by a long shot, is to put the right people in the right places, or to send them on their way if they can't fit in.
"Corporate processes" are worth F all if there aren't people who can make those processes work properly.
But the people in charge of woke wankery can't admit that THEY put a bunch of woke wankers in positions of power, with predictable results. So instead we get these insipid spreadsheet-worthy excuses that completely miss the point.
what is this?? it appears to be a MST3K-esque pop culture news channel? I'm intrigued….
I donot see where this much money is going. There has to be absolutely massive amounts of embezzlement on these films . Either Diversity hire morons getting taken for a ride at best or purposeful crookedness throught the system getting their cut .
Waiting for the curre t admin to bail out disney with tax dollars making them fully corporate propoganda
Social media is helping in the mass destruction for this film and it apparently deserves it. With The Overloard DVD, dozens of Conservative social commentators, and just general movie related sites, its staggering how bad this movie is and will blow away any biggest net money loss movie records even with inflation adjusted numbers will be. Even the most creative 'Hollywood accounting' can't cover this nuke bomb. Add in the other losses or low profits at ABC, ESPN, Disney+, many middle class families not able to afford to go to the theme parks, the Fox movie buyout and I expect some parts of the empire to be sold off, massive firings of executives and board directors. Comcast-Universal-NBC, Paramount, Sony, Warner, have all been far smarter in their product, balancing diversity demands but still delivering product their customers want and will see.
why is it up to men to see it, when women are majority in the general population
and its for women anyway
But seriously, they did not spend $400 million on marketing. Literally not possible, there isn't that much ad space available for anyone to purchase even if they had the coin to do it.
The Woke mind virus is claiming a huge victim as it slowly drains Disney into bankruptcy . 7000 jobs lost so far. Staggering losses of the hundreds of millions per year. Stock tanking. Yet Disney keeps doubling down over and over on a loosing bet.
I have been unsubscribed from your channel 4 or 5 times now
Just when you thought Rottentomatoes couldn't have less credibility…they have actually stopped counting reviews for this movie. It is frozen forever on 62% fresh…what's more–they do not show the ratings for top critics anymore–you have to count them yourself and do the maths. 36 out of 62 rate the movie as rotten btw.
$400 million is crazy. It sounds like a number that was specifically leaked in order to trace who was leaking info. My guess is they have it narrowed down to a few candidates and they are leaking specific numbers to specific people.
Tell your spy to be careful.
MCU has about 3 movies to go…
I don't think that it's Disney isn't producing movies for Americans, but that the media and politicians have tried to change what it means to be an American. Disney ran with it hoping to beat everyone else to the punch, but nobody is having this shit.
There is a Sodom and Gomorrah joke there but I just cant keep it family friendly . 🙂
When you really think the silent majority is with you, but they aren't
„Upwards failure“ they move money into pockets …
I find Disney's constant failures to be endlessly entertaining, I hope they keep it up until the point they have to sell off brands and companies that have been absorbed into their gross Akira like mass. I've said all along that one company owning nearly everything is ridiculous and should never have been allowed, now them chickens is all home and roosted away nicely.
