    This series will be based on the manga, unlike the series from 2001 which, at some point, didn't have manga material to go on.

    i used to watch shaman king on fox kids when I was younger. Really loved the series even though at that time in America they had a tendency to edit animes to fit American guidelines. Which at times I didn't like. I really did like the American intro version song though.

    I'm really excited for the new Shaman King, I grew up with the series as a kid in the 90s, and I was always hoping they'd remake it again someday <3333

    I dont know if this one is getting a remake anytime soon, but another oldie this one reminded me of was the original Monster Rancher anime. I know its had multiple video games over the years, but its also another old anime that has my heart, besides Shaman King and multiple others from the shows of those earlier eras >w< You maybe/might enjoy that one too 😀 (There's also Medabots from around the same time too, I think XD; )

    I am SO PSYCHED for SK2021! My first experience with Shaman King was in 2004 when it was dubbed by 4Kids. Even though it received the classic 4 kids treatment, I was still captivated by the characters and the story. I even bought the five volume Hong Kong bootleg DVD set from eBay, back when that was a thing. I didn't get super far reading the manga, and I've decided to go ahead and watch the new series first before reading the manga just so I can compare it with my nostalgic memories of the original anime.
