I saw this, so I decided to watch almost the whole playlist, I thought that was the whole anime but- I realized at night, that wasn't the full anime, and it's on Netflix, I didn't have it at that time, so then I cried, bc i basically spoiled scenes

Maaaaan, this season felt like it really had it out for Haida. Between him suddenly chickening out with Retsuko (which even made Fenneko go "Da fuq?"), him suddenly being down for fuggin corporate fraud, and then Retsuko completely fucking him over when he was trying to redeem himself it's fuggin disgraceful how they massacred my boy.
Haida really needs to get over himself.
Haida and Retsuko ain't good for eachother, they're too shy, keep sending mixed signals, and bad at communicating! They need someone the opposite of them to compliment them and they don't even help each other grow that much compared to how Tadano helped Retsuko (and even Haida) grow and Inui helped Haida grow.

Not Anymore
So heres my spin on it: Haida been chasing this car for so long he doesnt know what to do when he catches it. It seems almost like there has been so much rejection here that he is hurt and not as stable in their (even platonic) relationship as he was before. He has fallen out of love, hasnt realized it, and is still trying to go through the motions of what he wanted because its what he wanted … right? he wanted this…? This akward messed up thing were he keeps getting hurt and lies bc he wants some stable ground to stand on? Haida forgot what the relationship was in season 1 that attracted him so much to begin with. Its not the same. Both he and Retsko have changed, not all for the better. They might be able to salvage something… but of course it didnt work. They would both need to meet eachother were they are at now
