  1. Happy New Year, Jonathan! I love all your 2022 knitting! You were very busy❤️👏👏👏

  2. wow..i mean..i saw some of these things before but putting it together in one show like this really DOES highlight how prolific a knitter you are. I wish I had the time for that, lol. Then again, i guess I'm dabbling too much with too tiny needles and too complicated pattern >.<
either way, happy new year! <3

  3. Yes!! I’ve been watching others WIKIAY podcasts and hoped you would make one too!

I love the Billie and think it will be on my list to knit this year! The only aim I have this year is to make some socks! 😊

  4. Luv seeing all your knits for 2022! Wow, you have been busy ! I can’t wait to see what 2023 brings. I think my favourite one is the “Billie pullover”, the cables are stunning and the confetti colour is stunning. Sending best wishes for the New Year ❤

  5. Happy New Year, Jonathan….It’s always good to see you pop up on my iPad. Your fashion show was fabulous! Your sweaters are beautiful! I’m looking forward to what’s to come in your next video. Until then…love and hugs 🤗❤️🙋

  6. Happy New Year! Thanks for showing all your 2022 knits together, it's been nice. I knit for me mainly, but also for my husband and sons, and I appreciate seeing knitted garments worn by a man.

  7. Fabulous collection of knits for the year! It's great to see them all together. I'm looking forward to another year of podcasts from you. I really enjoy the time spent seeing what you're working on and the tidbits about what else you're up to.

I'm like you – I have projects I want to knit but no hard and fast start or finish times. There are a couple of KALs I participate in during the year, but only if I want to. The only guarantee is that there are always socks on my needles. Happy New Year!

  8. Happy New Year Jonathan! I can’t imagine knitting that many sweaters in a year’s time! All are gorgeous and especially the one you designed yourself. I do hope you eventually tweak your pattern to your satisfaction & publish it at some point. My word for 2023 is spontaneous & I plan to knit Stephen West shawl patterns from stash & just not worry about what colors go with each other. It sure will be interesting l! Until next podcast.

  9. It was so nice to revisit all your knits from 2022. Looking forward to seeing what you do in 2023. Best, Jane

  10. Thank you so much Jonathan I loved everything about this episode, especially your love for knitting which shines through as you share. I dont use IG so it’s always a treat to catch up with your podcast. 💙

  11. Happy New year, Jonathan! Thank you for sharing all your work! I'm totally fan of your podcasts and your projects (knitting and sewing), your colors choices are always beautiful! Keep on inspiring us!

  12. Loved seeing your 2022 round up. Your self designed sweater is gorgeous and I get your apprehension over launching as a pattern for all look and make there is such a negative culture around and I think it stinks..but it would be great to have a video about your process so more people feel confident trying designing . Myself I am only confident enough to size up, change the weight of the yarn and adjust certain aspects such as sleeve and body length another person perspective on designing would be great

  13. Firstly, I’m just going to say that J is one hot dude modeling all his knits! Right?
I can say this since I am old enough to be his granny! Not a sleezy stalker!
Secondly I would definitely agree with all the excited comments on the great video! So no need to repeat.

  14. I loved following you this past year! Thank you for all your generous videos and I can't wait to see what you make in 2023.
While I'm not surprised about the gatekeeping in the indy pattern community, it really has always been that way, makes me sad folks have found a new way restrict people sharing with us.
    Keep up the joy!

  15. Love you and your knits. You are so talented. 14 sweaters and I thought you did a ranunculus as a gift??. Is fabulous work. The knits for the girls were adorable. They are lucky to have such a great guy knit for them. I’ve been with you since the beginning and enjoy every minute. You seem so authentic.

  16. Gorgeous knitting! Thank you for a great video and sharing your thoughts.

  17. I hadn't heard of the backlash against podcasters who start designing, but I say don't let that deter you. If you want to design, you do it. I am a small name designer and I am not comfortable enough to start a podcast, so I have a small following, in the age of social media, it can be hard. You be you.

  18. So so many fabulous knits and yummy yarns. Brioche is out of my league, but I LOVE the design features on your last sweater. Well done, you!

  19. Oh my goodness this has been so good re visiting your knits. Doesn’t seem five minutes since we saw these on your needles. It is so heartwarming when someone loves your gift knitting – no matter what the knit is or who it is for. It makes the gift knitting so worth while. My 18 year old grandson is thrilled with the fingerless mitts he found in his stocking ( because he kept wearing mine). Great viewing – thanks so much 🧶🧶
