  1. The new opus pens are interesting. I thought for sure that demonstrator was a Franklin Cristoph before I started the video.

  2. Azizah, as much as I do enjoy watching your reviews, please put in front of you a card with big letters: CLOSE UP's = PUT A PAPER BEHIND TO FOCUS on a PEN!
And Opus Koloro is a fun pen, but too many turns to open/close it. I find myself avoiding such pens; F-C's with their one-and-something turns are perfect. If they change the design to less turns, I will buy it instantly.

  3. Aziaah diggin the pens reviewed especially the Opus 88 demonstrator. thanks again for another excellent Mail box Goodies.

  4. I think I'll be adding the Opus to my collection. Thank you for the great video.

  5. I loved the Kingdom Note Coconut ink & also the Pineider Avatar's gorgeous saffron yellow color <3 Both pens are nice, but I'd rather have a bottle of the Coconut ink. Thank you for another dynamic, entertaining &honest review (or quick presentation of mail goodies). Love your style, Azizah. There's no one like you <3 Thank you!

  6. What was the paper the Opus 88 didn't like? I'd like to avoid that paper. Thanks!

  7. Dayumn, that "b" on blood orange is hawt! I have tried various styles of lower case b, but haven't found anything I really like… I might have to steal yours 🙂

  8. I have their Grande Bellezza and I got some ortho elastics from my niece to match the tiggy eye yellow and put some on the metal section; provides extra grip and looks pretty good.

How was their paper for writing on did you try it? I'd like to buy their paper but it's $1.50 a page.

  9. I like to think my handwriting is pretty good… But damn, can I have yours instead?

  10. Both of these have caught my eye of late (onto my next purchase radar) so I was happy to see them here side by side. I was going to ask which you'd buy but given the price difference, I'm pretty sure I know which one I'd go for (Opus 88). Mind you, I saw that Pineider has a new acrylic with a price (US) within a very few dollars of the Opus 88 Koloro ($120USD range @ Goulet Pens) so now I'm re-conflicted!

  11. i love my montblanc 4//28/2019 thank you Gourmet Pens

  12. I agree with Azizah about prices for steel-nibbed pens. Marlen makes a SE "Washington DC" for $396. On the other hand, you can get high quality pens with gold nibs for much less: Pilot offers an E95S SE (14K) for $136, & Vanishing Points (18k) for $156. Sailor has a mid-sized (standard) SE Pro Gear (21K) for $312. Platinum sells their low-end Maki-e (18K) pens for $160 and their high-end ones for $192. The foregoing prices are for American sales. I have got the named pens from Japan for less. In my experience Japanese fountain pens are superior in both manufacturing and writing quality.
