Sounds like the perfect song to play to get pumped up before a decisive competition. It sounds uplifting as well in the sense of being filled with hope for a better tomorrow. That wham of energy on the 1st note at the beginning of the song is just splendid. There’s a sense of euphoria that gushes out which can only be described as pure, unbridled joy. A feeling of being able to overcome anything, to conquer the day sums it up pretty nicely. It really invigorates me with a big booster shot of confidence. Lots of positivity to say the least. The list could go on and on but I think you get the idea.
Now, I’ve seen that most people who have uploaded Devil Survivor 2 song extensions tend to focus in on the exciting themes especially the battle themes which I do enjoy. However, some other just as noteworthy tracks just don’t get the same love and attention they deserve and in my opinion, this track certainly has won me over. So, I might as well extend it myself then. Besides this one, some of my other favorite tracks in the game are Will of the Species, Desperate Situation, Septentrion, Anguished One’s Theme, Beyond the Firmament, and Shudder.
The thing is, I also have been playing the new version of the game, Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker and it’s been quite fun so far. I have and finished the original Devil Survivor 2 so I used my memory of that to mostly breeze through the Septentrion arc stories so I’m taking my time discovering the new Triangulum arc. I really just wanted to see what the story was behind the Triangulum arc so that’s why I finished the Septentrion arc first to get all of my high level demons, skills, and whatnot so I could steamroll through the Triangulum arc. I’ve discovered there are instances where careful planning and strategy are at the forefront and just having random powerful demons alone won’t get the job done but having almost everything unlocked definitely makes things easier and allows me plenty of options to work with. I have to say, I really like the Triangulum battlefield theme, Vulnerable Threat.
There seemed to be only a small amount of images with the entire cast present and posed in a way I was looking for so this one’s the best one I managed to find. I wanted to find one with everyone having some kind of confident/smirking/ready for action kind of pose so it would fit this song perfectly. However, since this song does play in various situations such as when the group is getting ready to take on the next boss, I suppose it would be appropriate for them to have serious determined expressions.
