    You’re lucky, at the pace you’re watching you won’t have any wait for the final batch of Part 6, plus you get all the touched-up versions of the first batch of episodes (when they came out, they looked worse and had typos in the subs)

    Leaving jokes aside, the Jolyne strip scene is great to show off her character. It's the first "OK, she's a Joestar" moment.
    Also, Matty's camera following her to keep censoring was so funny lmao

    Fun fact: Araki wanted to make a female protagonist since Part 5 but his editor didn't let him due to thinking a female protagonist wouldn't do good in a shonen at that time.
    Actually, Giorno's original name (before moving to Italy) "Haruno", is a female name, and even Giovanna is the female version of Giovanni.
    Finally, his editor says Giorno's Gold Experience ability to give life reminds of how women also give life

    Jolyne didnt even exist when DIO was awakening every Joestars stand so she just doesnt auto-get a stand, she had to pierce herself with the arrow shard to get her stand awakened there and there

    The Joestar got their stands from DIO and Joseph, Jotaro, Josuke, and Giorno were all alive when the Crusaders fought DIO but Jolyne was born after DIO died so she wasn't born with a stand.

    Can I talk about this for a moment? It's crazy but your previous thoughts about Jolyne were actually the same ones that I had. Cause in most anime I've watched when they try to make a strong female chatacter it usually leads to her being kinda like manly or emotionless, and even in JoJo, the previous important female chatacter, Trish, was interesting but I didn't really like the fact that she was insecure of herself and then just changed completely and became a badass in the plane scene when she runs towards Bucciarati. And when I started Part 6 I was actually shocked by this same scene

    I like this more than part 4 and part 5 because it's basicaly continuation of that joestar blood, and I'm not a manga reader, but if those things that I heard about ending of part 6 are true, than this will be the best part for sure

    Jolyne didn’t have a Stand til she got pierced by the arrow. Only the Joestars who were alive when DIO awakened his Stand got power. That just means Joseph.,Holly, Jotaro, Josuke, and Giorno. However, Jolyne is obviously compatible because most people in her bloodline are compatible.

    Jotaro’s been on the marine biology shit since Part 3. In the Anubis episode he’s reading a marine biology magazine, and in Part 4 he writes a thesis paper about some starfish he saw in Morioh.

    I said this on another vid but I'll say it here.
    The arrow and shards of the arrow contain a virus. If you're stabbed by the arrow, you will be killed by the arrow's virus. However, if you have STAND POTENTIAL you will survive and have your stand forced out. (Koichi is unique as he was going to die, but Jouske healed him, hence why it started as an egg and as Koichi gained more resolve and a stronger spirit, his stand hatched and grew).
    The Joestars all have stand potential, so Jotaro knew that if Jolyne was pierced by the arrow, she would awaken her stand early.

    the way i see it jojo isnt about 'manliness' but rather something deeper like determination or the pursuit of power or security, jolyne (and part 6 as a whole kinda) tries to take the gender aspect that was present in previous parts out of the equation
    i like the way you reasoned it, shows you have an interest in actually getting to the deeper aspects of a show 🙂 definitely a fan

    Stands are inherited, Jolyne’s Stand was just dormant which the Arrow piece awakened

    Yes you can search Jolyne's age it doesn't really matter in part 6.
