“Romantic Killer” just started streaming exclusively on Netflix from October 27th. In this special interview, Rie Takahashi, who plays the main character Anzu Hoshino, talks about the series and what makes Anzu great!
About the series:
“Romantic Killer” is a slapstick adolescent romantic comedy that follows the romance-averse Anzu, a “non-heroine type” high school girl who is thrown into a real-life dating simulation game.
Anzu Hoshino is a “non-heroine type” high school girl who pays no attention to fashion or romance and spends every day playing video games. After the wizard Riri suddenly appears and confiscates Anzu’s three favorite things — video games, chocolate, and cats — she gets pursued by hot guys!

Halfway watching this anime, I realise how good her voice acting is. Dont get me wrong every japanese voice acting is top tier, but her voice beats every level of greatness. There's so much emotion and tone put into it and that itself made the anime way more entertaining. She's a legend!!!!!

I can't believe that even as a bloke, the way me and my friends talk about it this series is literally taking my personality and putting it in an anime, it's so over the top and hyped and hyperbolic, and incredibly funny!

I think they didi a great job for the adaptation. From MAL:

This anime was pleasantly surprising, it had a lot of tropes but I do feel like it was done in a not too excessive way. I was really surprised to hear that the manga got discontinued but I hope that even if it is that this would give way to it become it's own original as well.
Netflix please don't give up on this, need more anime rom-coms!
