A new trailer yasssss! And this one gave us both more of what season 2 is going to be about and the opening too! I love the vibe for season 2 and the focus on Thorfinn and what seems to be a friendship between him and that other guy who I’m excited to meet. I hope he will be one of the main driving forces that will motivate Thorfinn to move on and live. Can’t wait to see Thorfinn’s character arc! Oh and also the op song is great I’m hyped! Hope you enjoy!

I’m SO EXCITED for ppl to see this arc which is about to be animated bc it’s honestly the best on of the entire series and the character development is the best one I’ve ever seen for an anime character! Can’t wait! Great reaction❤️
The director is a really good chap and he can speak English unlike many Japanese people and he really likes to interact with overseas fans of the show which is a rarity btw he probably saw your reaction and really liked it so he followed you:)

As a manga reader, it's awesome finally watching some shots animated, for example, that shot of 2:59 with Thorfinn and Einar walking together (the manga version) always appears when someone recomends the manga for this, literally
The arc is literally called the farmland Arc and it's my favourite arc in the show. There is a massive drop in action which in turn prioritises Thoorfin's character development and some of the best I've ever seen in fiction. Please stick with the story, you'll love this season despite not having many action scenes. Happy watching
One of the things I'm most excited for in this season is something that you probably won't hear from anime fans often. I'm so excited to see the anime original stuff that gets added to this arc. The first season had a decent amount of runtime that was completely new for the anime and was added with the blessing of Yukimura himself. Things like the part of the story where Thorfinn learns how to throw his knife and hunt rabbits and the talk he had with Leif while he was in jail are some examples of this.
There's already a lot of stuff in the first two trailers that I don't recognize directly from the manga and I'm super excited to see what they came up with this time. Anything that extends the amount of time I can live in this story is fine with me as long as they can keep the quality of their added content this high.
The real life Canute did indeed have a half sister named Estrid. I have to assume that's her that we see in the trailer.
