I feel like I said this in the first trailer reaction but thorfinn was 17, 18 years in the end of the first season so he is certainly not 15 in the second one 🤣🤣🤣

Vinland Saga manga has one of the most beautiful art, especially the wide backgrounds…so it's worth reading
Farmland saga lets go! Gonna be interesting seeing how many anime onlys drop season 2 for being "boring" going into it expecting the same hype and action packed S1 had.

Imma just say that as someone with PTSD this arc showed how it is to deal with the aftermath of trauma very well. It's not dramatized, overblown or simplified. It just is.
It does introduce a lot of new characters, but it is an extremely Thorfinn centric arc compared to season 1.
"It seems like it doesn#t focus on Thorfinn" Ironic, because this is the first story arc that really puts Thorfinn and his character growth in the centre after the first arc where he often was more a side character.

Bro Leif Erikson is a major character in the anime.. he's the sailor guy with the mustache.
The anime, after I watched the first season, made in into my list of 10/10s. I've since read all 12 books that are released, and it became my favorite manga after like book 6 or 7. Top tier story and artwork.
It revolves a lot around thorfinn, even more so than in season 1. But there are also a lot of side characters who are important
