These scripts have so many turns and twists and surprises: just like real life. People making mistakes in judgment, obsessing over losses of dreams, of loss of loved ones. Excellent, true-to-life tales. Can you possibly track down more?
👍👌👏 A simply fantastic series and another great episode. Unfortunately in a very bad picture quality. Nevertheless thanks a lot for uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and health.
What a great series this was. Just now seeing it for the 1st time. I can't believe I didn't hear all kinds of people raving about it back in it's day. Great writing, acting, casting, directing, etc.
Wow, what an inspired piece of TV episode and the last 20 minutes at that could do what many block busters could not. The spirit of first flight has been captured beautifully in this memorable episode. Like the Wright brothers'story withtheir sister encouraging them through thick and thin, this episode has a woman backing the two pals who risk their neck in trying to fly free for the first time. In a way this episode is a tribute to the spirit of innovation, invention, perseverence and adventure over skepticism, physical risk, financial burden and above all public opprobrium in case of failure. Hats off to all those who have made the episode what it is. I could see the gala atmosphere of the whole community gathering up to witness the first flight, as I had seen when I saw the enthusiastic crowd just about a year ago in Outer Banks of North Carolina at the Monument for the Wright Brothers, their Kitty Hawk and the spirit of First Flight.
The Wright brothers flew successfully in 1903, which is about the time this show was set. 66 years later, man walked on the moon! My grandmother was born in 1904 and lived through all the greatest technological achievements and into 2003, how mind-blowing the world changed for her! Will children born in 2003 or so experience changes as great in this century? 🙂
This is great to watch old TV in a new age. I myself recorded many TV shows and just trying to cut the show to skip the ads out . I enjoy old westerns and would rather watch the old shows . Not just because I'm older.
Firstly, I loved Richard Boone in Paladin and it is great to see him again in another duster. He just had that way about him. No special effects. No artificial anything. Just good acting and good scripts. So happy to see this. Thank you!
Love Harry Morgan , I've seen him in a whole mess of movie's and TV shows from the 1940's up till his last show in MASH Richard Boone seen him in a whole mess of shows ( Panadan , not sure of spelling it was a western from the 1950's)and movie's Both were great character actor's , their skills were top notch The so called actor's and actresses of today suck, no skills at it , just boring read the part and pretend you know what your doing NO character, facial expressions ,or any reality-based acting Their acting skills are based on their sexual actions in movie's, how much skin and rolling around in bed they can do , and how much foul language you use Movie's leave nothing to the imagination of people it's all on the screen I'll stick with the old TV shows and movie's At least I didn't have to worry about my kids seeing ass and tits throughout the movie
damn this actress I have seen when she was older she was something when younger. I take that back . I saw her in rich man poor man. Damn is the other woman Jessica from soap , looking good
Guest starring Robert Foxworth. I met him when he was married to Elizabeth Montgomery. Talk about impressive people, look up beautiful couple and you'll find their photo.
I'm glad I found this series I love Richard Boone and I love ole hec Ramsey, kind of reminds me of Columbo if he had a broken down horse lol. I guess the beginning days of the Columbo type investigator? Lol, REALLY GREAT SERIES! THANKS for this being available!!!👍

Thank God for all the fools over the centuries who kept the faith, many of them paying with their lives. Payday.

Burke's Law Meets Paladin In Have Gun Will Travel.CSI Meets Paladin.
I think the sappy love aspects are what kept this series from being a long term success. Had it been solely a wild west detective series………

Oh lawd, got the dog incarcerated😄 why don't the woman tell them that he knew the dog, said he raised him from a pup, there has to be something to it
Was that Carpenter from McHale’s Navy as the newspaper reporter who ran up to Hec when he was on horseback

I ,would like too see the rest of the season and episodes of Hex Ramsay.
I only remember parts of this episode.
This quality of this film is really pretty bad. Too bad there isn't some way to clean it up.
Notice Harry Morgan aka Mash "Sherman Potter" directed these Hec Ramsey's
