The disciplinary wing was one of the most boring things i read, but they did it so well in anime that i had so much fun watching it i binged the rest of the batch afterwards. Now just wait another 10 months until 3rd batch, tbh i am still massively hyped for it

Since Ff is such a op character herself in terms of not dying I loved having them vs this old man since he has the strongest killing stand we have probably seen introduced in part 6

Dragon's Dream is very easy to understand, Araki really just loves his long-ass explanations and complicated mechanics and all that BS, as you'll also see in Part 8
Imagine this fight in a black and white manga panels.
This is one of the most confusing arcs of the entire series.
The idea of a stand being sentient yet neutral is a really fun idea to me. It even seems like Dragon’s Dream is almost cheering FF on at points!
Gotta say, I don’t like this fight or the character. But I guess it was bound to happen at some point in this part

I for how divided the opinions on Dragon's Dream may be, I gotta say at least the fight is way more enjoyable in animation than in manga since it can get tiring and boring to read that much

I still prefer this over the Ball-Dragon user fight w/ Satori in One Piece. I think it's important to note that Stone Ocean was fully written while Skypiea was nearly completed. They're both from that early-2000s generation of Shonen JUMP magazine where there's many-a-dialogue-centered battles.
I so love Dragon's Dream and the way it talks and tries to make a fair fight. As you guys continue watching One Piece, definitely keep your ears perked up for the Dragon's voice actor!
