i was 10 when i got my first period.
it was my brothers birthday and i had NO idea what it was
i went to the toilet when my fam was calling my other fam on the phone and i was taking longer than usual so my mum came in to check if i was okay. she saw blood and knew straight away. i had no idea what it was at the time so she helped me put on a pad. i was so confused but now as nearly 12 year old girl, i’m all used to it.
to anyone reading, you get used to it after time and it’s hard and stressful and painful but all girls get it. you aren’t the only one, remember that.
