    i stopped believing in santa up to like,,,, when i was 4 ? my older brother straight up told me santa doesn't exist and it has been my mom giving me my presents.

    Yep. I'm Manaka! I was 13 when I stopped believing but I still had doubts but still kept believing mostly because one with my luck he is real and I stopped getting presents and two I read the wimpy kid web comic and when Rodrick said he stopped believing he got crapper presents. But my little brother was like 10 when he stopped believing. Also the fact that shows like South Park and Family Guy had santa made my 10-13 brain think santa is real because if an adult show has him than he must be true! Ignoring the other times Family Guy or South Park shows how cartoony their show is like Brian talking or Kenny dying and coming back to life a lot.

    For once, i can really relate to Hiradin. I remember finding out Santa wasn't real when i was 4 years old too. Apparently my grandpa was the one who bought the presents during all those years.

    He used to hide the presents on top of a closet-like furniture we have. I don't really know the name, but my mother puts a lot of high quality decorations and important stuff inside of it so nothing bad happens, like imported chinese plates made of porcelain from the same country, documents, small statues and dolls for decoration, etc…
    One day i saw him hiding a white plastic bag in the furniture, soooo while he was taking a nap i put some plushies on the couch, stand up and saw a Christmas decoration inside the bag. Then i realized what was that but wasn't pretty sure if it was just my imagination or not.

    When it was Christmas time, my mother told me to go watch the fireworks with my older sister in her room's window, when we went back to the living room the gift was under the small tree we had.
    "Look! Santa came through the window and leave you a present under the tree!" My mom said. It was that same christmas decorated box i saw many days ago.
    I opened my gift, it was another little girl doll with some furniture instead of the Nerf gun i've saw in the market a many weeks ago before Christmas.

    I was disappointed.

    I think I stopped believing in Santa when I was like 5 years old… in my country there aren’t chimneys so it didn’t make sense to me. On the other hand I believed in the tooth fairy until I was like 8 years old 😅😅😅

    Being halfhearted can cause you to be negligent but you can also be halfhearted and not be negligent and vice versa. So they’re not the same thing.
