The whole scenario just HAD to be played out by that scum Jessie, although we get his motives and all, it doesn’t excuse how sadistic and pathetically he treats other people’s lives. I wish he hurt a bit more when he bit the dust but to see him gone will have to do. I do find it really odd how Gowen and Hyoga have been offed without practically any screen time and have a bit of hope that some Rebecca time-travel saving will occur… more like I really hope so for Elsie’s sake. At least they managed to ‘save’ Elsie even in their dying moments by undoing her restraints, now to see her go off in some form or another which I have no idea what will be.
What I find interesting is that Elsie and Homura both have had moments now where they lament the fact that death follows them… I wonder why Hiro has chosen to do this 🤔
I’m siding with Rebecca on this one, I’m very worried about what’s to come, so many people on edge and ready to kill, Homura and Justice, Elsie’s rage, Shiki’s will to kill Ziggy. So many things need answers!

I don't know whether Elsie is the true villain or not, but I can see why she's being driven to the edge. Hopefully we'll see what happens next week

Elsie really is the opposite of Erza when it comes to protect their family. Erza’s decision have mostly benefited in keeping her family/guild safe meanwhile Elsie’s decisions on lead to their demise.. 👀
So much stuff going on simultaneously. Hermit trying to find out who the true enemy is, Shiki gonna have to destroy his own Grandpa, Justice distracted with Homura and Rebecca having a bad feeling is right. I honestly dunno how everything is gonna end with this arc😭

Well that was quite downcasting chapter! Damn Jesse, he killed two of Elise's family just for her to suffer. At least he's dead as well. Rebecca's bad feeling she said is making nervous and fearful on what's going to happen next. I'm curious on what Hermit discovered about Elsie and maybe it might be connected to the true enemy Ziggy spoke of.

Funny how Elsie and Erza are very similar in the decisions they make (showing mercy) but ultimately are rewarded quite differently when it comes to it, in Elsie's case punished really.
