i really like the badge thing. i just wanna watch jojo when i have time and i dont have time every week to watch jojo s just gimme 12 episodes and then i binge it when i have a free day.
It wasn't gonna take forever because how long it takes to animate, it was gonna take forever just because they decided to break season 6 into 3 parts and release 1 season of anime like it was 3 seasons of anime like S tupid I DIOTS because they're horrible at their job. If they were smart they would release the 1st 10 episodes as a batch release to get ppl hooked and then switch to weekly so it gets steadily drip fed to ppl until it's finished keeping it on ppl's minds the entire run, ensuring it remains popular and talked about the entire year or however long it takes to release it as opposed to having it being talked about for a couple days then gigantic yearly gaps of nothing in between parts ensuring it doesn't become a big hit and ppl forget about it right away.
The end of part 6 is definitely some of the crazy shit Jojo has to offer. When reading the manga it felt like after jailhouse rock, the pace was set to 11 so maybe the binge might enhance that feeling. What scares me is the quick turnaround for season 3. As if Netflix are also trying till secure part 7 in their deal with DP. I’m very happy waiting 1.5-2 years before getting SBR so people can actually appreciate part 6
If that date is correct, chances are we will be getting a trailer really soon, because its less than 2 months away
Im so glad I decided to watch 1 episode every friday because now the last episode of batch 2 for me will be November 18 then I just have to wait 2 weeks for the next batch

Part of me is almost a little bit glad that they’re figuring out this Netflix batch stuff is a absolute wreck now versus having this happen with Steel Ball Rum and potentially smear the entire franchise’s crown jewel. Hopefully they learn their lesson with Stone Ocean and moving forward. Steel Ball Rum deserves the best humanly possible.

They have probably already animated most of part 6, to be honest. I can’t fucking wait for part 7 to happen. But if Disney gets rights to Jojo, I’ll be pissed. It’s kinda a rule of thumb that Disney ruins everything.

reviews for the return of jojo friday become more troublesome than anything else. At first it was a good feeling but now it only shows the very toxic side of the jojo community. If you need "hype" to enjoy an anime then you're probably not a real jojo fan.
Honestly, Stone Ocean deserved way better. It was a controversial part among the communty and I was hoping that the anime would have the same effect it has on Golden Wind by giving back to SO the reputation it deserve. Unfortunatly, netflix ruined it just for a question of dollars. I really hope that SSB will be lucky and won't have the same destiny.
I sure hope they scraped enough money for a new opening. Imagine them not doing time manipulation in the intro because of Netflix. That would be the cherry on top of this disastrous release model.

Here's the issue with part 7 and it's not the horses it's the shift to monthly chapters with steel ball run that might pose a problem because of the page increase part 7 should be a lot longer than every other part in the anime or at least the same length as part 3 being 48 episodes which I could see part 7 having to be 52 to 60 episodes instead and that could be a big problem for Netflix and the batch release style. Because there is no way we are getting all of steel ball run animated in 1 year I'm very confident about that unless david productions pre animates a majority of the part before they go announcing it. But Netflix is gonna have to be careful how to do part 7 I say just do weekly like they do Komi-San can't communicate.

The batches isn't the worst part. The worst part is how Netflix didn't let us know how it was gonna be released. After batch 1 we had no idea if it would be weekly following the Japanese broadcast. Then once we figure out that wasn't the case. We waited like half a year to know when more was coming. And it was a ridiculous wait between batch 1 and 2. Basically, if they just gave a schedule I would have been way happier.
