This is Berk. This is Hiccup. He can’t fight dragons, which sucks since his society is built on it. He uses his nerdy invention for dorks and takes down the most elusive type of dragon – a Night Fury which turns out to a basically be a big puppy with retractable teeth. Hiccup names him Toothless and keeps him secret from the others while building a bond with the dragon
Hiccup learns how to train dragons, confusing the others who thought Dragons were just untamable beasts, but they never tried NOT attacking them, so you know…
After Hiccup’s dad tries to eliminate dragons at the source, Hiccup and co save the day, but not without Hiccup losing his leg. He gets a prosthetic to match Toothless’ prosthetic tail fin that Hiccup made earlier
A few years and TV series later, the humans and dragons live together and Hiccup is… kind of Daddy tho? This guy’s gonna declare war or something, but more importantly, Hiccup and his dad reunite with his long-lost mom, that’s a death flag. Whoops, Hiccup’s dad died protecting him from Toothless who was mind controlled by Drago. Hiccup and Toothless reconcile, save the day, and Hiccup becomes the chief of Berk
Hiccup and co. continue to liberate dragons and find Toothless a girlfriend in a Light Fury. Too bad she’s bait for this guy to kill Toothless and… also Hiccup. Now they’re on the run since Berk isn’t safe. They find the hidden world where they drop off the dragons since humans can’t have nice things, exemplified by this guy being a nuisance
Years later, we see Toothless reunite with Hiccup, who is DADDY, also literally, now. Hiccup states his drive to keep the hidden world secret until humans can chill the hell out about dragons
