Story Summary:
The time is of the Taisho period (AD 1912-1926).
Shima Tamahiko was born into a wealthy family and grew up without ever encountering any serious problem. Yet one day, a tragic incident caused him to lose his right hand’s function, his father’s hope in him, and his mother.
Under the pretence of rehabilitation, he was sent off to the countryside, where he grew into a pessimist that loathes everything in the world.
It was then when a girl named Yuzuki came to him.
She is assigned by Tamahiko’s father to care for him, as his bride.
At first, Tamahiko finds Yuzuki annoying, but gradually, her smile and kindness start to open his heart…
Will they get along and become a true husband and wife?
And so, the curtain opens on the nostalgic Taisho love story.
