π The advance screening for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, the television anime based on the “Thousand Year Blood War” arc of Tite Kubo’s Bleach manga, debuted the anime’s second promotional video on Sunday. The staff also announced more cast members, the theme song artists, the split four-cours (quarters of a year) length, and October 10 premiere.
π Crunchyroll announced on Monday that it will release the One Piece Film Red anime, both English-subtitled and English-dubbed, in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand in November. The film will open in the United States and Canada on November 4, and tickets go on sale on October 6. The film will open in Australia and New Zealand on November 3, and tickets go on sale in those countries on October 5. In addition, Crunchyroll Expo Australia will host the subtitled premiere on September 16, followed by the North American premiere in New York on October 6 (which is also the first day of New York Comic Con).
π The official website for TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You, the anime of KenjirΕ Hata’s Fly Me to the Moon (Tonikaku Kawaii) manga, revealed on Monday that the anime’s new episode is scheduled to stream in Japan on November 22. (The day is nicknamed “Good Couples Day” as a wordplay on how “11/22” can be read in Japanese.) The episode was delayed from summer to fall in Japan.
The new episode is titled “Seifuku” (Uniform), and it will feature a returning cast and staff. Crunchyroll will stream the episode. Crunchyroll Expo 2022 premiered the episode on August 6.
The staff also began streaming on Monday a cooking-themed promotional video featuring the song “Tsukasa’ο½βͺKitchen” performed by Tsukasa’s voice actress Akari KitΕ.
π Anime streaming site HIDIVE announced on Monday the initial English dub cast and the September 23 premiere date of the Ya Boy Kongming! (Paripi KΕmei) anime.
π The official website for the television anime of Hiroyuki’s Girlfriend, Girlfriend (Kanojo mo Kanojo) manga announced on Friday that production on a second season has been green-lit. Hiroyuki had been counting down daily since Monday until Friday by posting teaser images on Twitter.
π The official website for the Edens Zero franchise began streaming a new teaser trailer for the anime on Friday. The teaser reveals the April 2023 premiere date for the second season of the franchise’s anime adaptation.
