While this prologue is provided with English subtitles, the following videos for this project will have English commentary and I’ll translate the Japanese text as I play the game.

The game “Detective Conan: Prelude from the Past” was released in 2012 for PSP and Nintendo DS, it is the only “Detective Conan” game on PSP and the last one of the Nintendo DS games.
Shown here is the Japanese original version of the PSP game, I’ve edited my German translation into the video. I’d recommend the PSP version over the NDS one, the resolution (especially of the text) is much better here, however you get to use touch functions with the NDS version. Sadly, there’s no voices in this game, which is a shame, since even games from much less known franchises sometimes are fully voiced. Well, at least you will notice different pitches in the dialogue, depending on who’s talking – a neat little detail! And there’s lots of content with six pretty large chapters, plus a prologue – which you can see here of course.
If you find any language mistake in my English translation, please feel free to correct me, since English isn’t my native language. It’s just a matter of a few seconds for me to update the closed captions 🙂
