俳優の小栗旬さん主演で7月に公開され、興行収入が38億円を突破した実写映画「銀魂（ぎんたま）」（福田雄一監督）の続編「銀魂パート2（仮）」が製作されることが11月16日、明らかになった。2018年夏休みに公開予定。同日、主演の小栗旬さんと福田監督が出席した東京都内で開催されたブルーレイディスク（BD）とDVDリリース記念トークイベントで発表された。
「銀魂」は、「週刊少年ジャンプ」（集英社）で2004年から連載されている空知英秋さんの人気マンガ。天人（あまんと）と呼ばれる異星人に占領された江戸時代を舞台に、なんでも屋を営む侍・銀時らが難題を解決する姿を描くSF時代劇コメディー。06年4月にテレビアニメ第1期がスタートし、11年4月～12年3月に第2期、15年4月～16年3月に第3期が放送され、10年と13年には劇場版アニメも公開された。
実写映画のブルーレイ・ディスク（BD）とDVDが22日に発売される（デジタルは先行配信中）。2枚組み初回仕様のBDは7990円（税抜き、以下同）、DVDは6990円。初回仕様にはメーキングやインタビュー、未公開映像＆NGシーン集、ビジュアルブックなどが付く。3000セット限定生産BDスチールブック仕様は6490円、2枚組みの4K ULTRA HD＆BDセットは5990円。通常版のBDは4990円、DVDは3990円。

Decided to produce the next episode of the live-action movie “Gintama”! Release next summer
The Information of Oguri Shun was released in July and the next episode of “Gintama Part 2” (expected) of the live-action movie “Gintama” (directed by Fukuda Yuichi) with box office sales made up for over JPY 3. 8 billion to announce on November 16th.
It is expected to release in the summer of 2018.
The information was announced at a press conference celebrating the release of DVDs and Blu-ray Discs (BDs) held in Tokyo, which starred by Actor Oguri Shun and Director Fukuda on the same day.
“Gintama” is a favorite manga by Author Hideaki Sorachi, made in series since 2004 on the Weekly Shōnen Jump (Shueisha).
The story was set in the Edo period the Earth was invaded by an alien race called Amanto. It is a drama comedy about Samurai and Gintoki, who run the Wan Chai shop to solve the challenges.
