We start our look at Galaxy Angel, a sim dating/RTS hybrid made by Broccoli which was released in 2002. Being a part of the trilogy, Galaxy Angel is one of the most classic visual novels that is *NOT* porn and crying soap opera. This game is a pure fun, lighthearted gem that takes in-depth looks into exotic characters and fascinating character developments.
Galaxy Angel tells a story of Tact Mayers, a playful but extremely competent fleet captain who suddenly becomes involved in an inter-galactic war against the dreadful ex-prince Eonia Transbaal. Eonia’s fleets are armed with unstoppable unmanned spaceships and other ancient technologies. Luckily, Tact is tasked into commanding the ace space fighter team called “Moon Angel Wings”, comprising of five female ace pilots who take control of five most powerful space fighters in the galaxy. Thus Tact’s journey to defeat the New Empire begins.
