⏹Summary: The Masked Demons destroyed all but one of the Shinsengumi, who had worked to keep Kyoto’s peace and public order, during the time when samurai ruled Japan.
Ichibanboshi, whose parents were also slaughtered by the Masked Demons, is in charge of the group of seven criminals picked to stand in for the deceased Shinsengumi members. He takes on the role of Commander Isami Kondo’s replacement and, together with the other replacements, pursues the Masked Demons to exact revenge for the murders of his parents.
