Lyrical, Magical. I’ll do my best!
It’s been 3 years since I covered the tv-size version of innocent starter in 2018, so now I’m super excited to finally have covered the full version in 2021!
I started watching StrikerS again last month (with the goal of properly finishing it this time), then came Reflection, Detonation… and thus I fell back into the rabbithole that is Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha once more! I enjoyed StrikerS a lot, actually. Started off kinda slow, but the second half was really good! (and there were tons of sweet nanofate moments, so who could complain about that?) Reflection and Detonation were even better, with Detonation being crowned one of my fav movies of all-time. and now I’m currently on ViViD. (not really enjoying that one, and I might drop it if it gets worse but the nanofate family moments are nice at least)
I also watched the first two movies again to further refresh my memory (though I plan on giving the two seasons a rewatch sometime), and they were even better than I remembered!! I haven’t been into the series for a long time now, but it’s definitely still a franchise near and dear to my heart so I’ve been really enjoying watching it again (and seeing the new content as well)! (≧◡≦) I also heard there’s a new animated project in the works, too… Can’t wait!
