A rare treat!

This Labor Day weekend, we continue our screenings of Hayao Miyazaki classics with his FIRST EVER feature length film: the 1979 adventure classic, LUPIN III: THE CASTLE OF CAGLIOSTRO!

11:30 AM Saturday and Sunday, 9/5 & 9/6

$5.00 admission.

Posters, Japanese soda, and Japanese snacks at the concession stand.

As one of the first Japanese animated films to receive a global release, THE CASTLE OF CAGLIOSTRO served as an anime gateway for fans throughout the ’80s and early ’90s, including a young John Lasseter.

No less than Steven Spielberg once hailed the film as “one of the greatest adventure movies of all time”, and CAGLIOSTRO is said to have been an influence on the Indiana Jones series.

Featuring a groovy jazz soundtrack by Yuji Ohno.

Don’t miss what may be your first and ONLY chance to see this influential classic on the BIG SCREEN!
