今回は桜が満開の群馬県南牧村（日本一の限界集落）にある廃鉱山に行ってきました。
閉山時期は90年代らしく既に20年以上月日が経っています。この鉱山は下から見上げた感じが、スタジオジブリ制作、長編アニメーション映画作品、宮崎駿監督の「天空の城ラピュタ」に描かれているもの似ていたのでこの題目にしました。やはり20年以上の年月が経っていると金属類の腐食などが進みとても重厚感がある感じです。またこの場所は民家から離れているため周囲は静かで小鳥の囀りが心地良く感じました。

This time, I went to an abandoned mine in Nammoku Village, Gunma Prefecture (the largest marginal village in Japan) where the cherry blossoms are in full bloom.
The closing time seems to be in the 90’s, and more than 20 years have already passed. I chose this mine because the feeling of looking up from below was similar to that depicted in Studio Ghibli production, a feature-length animated film, and Hayao Miyazaki’s “Castle in the Sky”. After 20 years or more, the corrosion of metals progresses and it feels very profound. Also, since this place is far from a private house, the surroundings are quiet and I felt comfortable with the singing of small birds.
