Persona 5 the Animation but only when Ren talks

As the title says, this is a compilation of every single voiced line (plus some interesting-sounding yells/grunts) Ren had in the english dub of 「Persona 5 the Animation」. I’d be surprised if someone hadn’t done a compilation before I did, but regardless, here this is , just in case. Hope you’re as much of a fan of his voice acting (and character) as I am.

For those of you who are curious, here are some things I noticed while I was making this compilation.

– Something that sort of disappointed me is that, despite finally being able to speak/have full sentences, most of Ren’s lines simply consisted of affirmations (such as “Yeah, “Right”, “Okay”), very simple commands (such as “Let’s go”, “We’ll take the treasure”, “[saying character’s name]”), or, overall, just very short sentences. This is sadly not all that different from the voice lines he has in the game (although the anime takes away a lot of the nuance and characterization from his answers in-game. Good job, lol.)

– The maximum time Ren spoke in a single episode was a little over 2 minutes(episode 9). The usual speaking time he had per episode tended to lie roughly between half a minute to a little over a minute.

Sadly no Proof of Justice. We couldn’t hear Xander Mobus sobbing over Akechi. Bummer. Bless his soul, though. The english dub really made this anime bearable to watch.
