For “The Good Old Days” we came up with a few different video concepts, but ultimately none of our ideas brought more life into the song than the videos we already had in our phones. We mined deep and had all of these random photos and videos from our pre-kids days. Lot of hats, lots of planes. Blair had bangs at some point. I would say this is an unfiltered look at our life, but some of these photos are indeed VERY filtered since they are from the early days of instagram. Towards the end of the video, everything speeds up because that’s how life has felt lately. Long gone are the days where Blair and I would ride around in our silver tour van, days passing so slow it drove us nuts. Now there isn’t enough time in the day and last summer feels like one minute ago.
