WATCH | ‘Vaccines likely to remain strong against the Omicron variant’ – Abdool Karim

Speaking during a media briefing on a panel with South African scientists, Epidemiologist Professor Salim Abdool Karim said not much is known about the Omicron variant’s behaviour and how transmissible it is but while research continues, scientists expect that vaccines will continue to fight against severe Covid disease and prevent hospitalisation.
