One of the most unique parking areas along Japanese expressways is “Onihei Edo Dokoro”. It’s located in Hanyu, a city in the northern part of Saitama Prefecture, which you pass as you head north from Tokyo on the Tohoku Expressway. It’s modelled after a street from the Edo period.
