In December 2018 there was a popular revolution in Sudan, led by women, that made global headlines and inspired activists around the world. Omar Al-Bashir was forced to step down but the rest of the Sudanese military refused to relinquish control, forcing a power-sharing agreement with a transitional civilian government. But that wasn’t enough for Sudan’s military generals who once again took control of the Sudanese state in a military coup. This documentary explains how and why these events unfolded, and why many Sudanese people believe their revolution is unfinished.
