Winter Campaign works for collaboration with Arpeggio of Blue Steel(“蒼き鋼のアルペジオ”, ABS in short), recently finished japanese animation series. You can easily get Iona(イオナ, I-401 in ABS) through one-time quest “【謎の潜水艦「イオナ」と接触せよ！】” by sinking 2 or more enemy submarines. Her abilities are full with awesomeness (FP 129, TP 129, HP 70, ARM 99, SPD Fast, and 50 points of luck!) which helps newbie admirals to breakthrough the event campaign theater at the price of heavy resource consumption(150/150 total), almost matches for Nagato-class BBs.
観音崎沖迎撃戦(E-1 ) is rated as 3-star difficulty. Quite easy even for any newly promoted admirals, especially with Iona. Area Suppression Meter lowered by 1/3 when you destroy a boss, Takao(タカオ in ABS). Takao is quite heavy hitting CA. Do not surprise when she projects a salvo ray of gravity cannon and shield(when you missed it).
Once you kill the boss three times(no meter regeneration!), you cleared the area and able to step the next quest “任務の情報収集！ツンデレ重巡を探せ！” which is translates to “Mission Intelligence: Find the tsundere-heavy cruiser”. You can clear the mission when you successfully completes 6 expeditions(any kind of).
Your fleet always reach the boss. So it is good for your quest completion effort such as “A-go Operation” (it requires you reach the boss 24 times in a week!)
