A Behind The Scenes look into my latest toy photography / figure photography work on Sega SPM prize figure of Add Gray from Lord El-Melloi Case Files: Rail Zeppelin Grace Note, which is a spinoff of the Fate / Type Moon franchise. So, she actually falls under my FGO / Fate Grand Order photography project, even though she does not originate from FGO. The entire concept is based on a dark, cold and gloomy location which appears to be a mysterious and haunted ancient ruin in the form of 3D printed diorama.
The scene was made from a mix of handmade parts, parts printed with a standard FDM 3D printer, as well as a new prototype coming off from my first resin SLA 3D printer. The figure with the scene is photographed under studio lighting, in a studio photography style setting. With this video I tried to squeeze in as much Toy Photography tutorials or guidelines into a video less than 15 minutes in length.
At the end of this video, from 10:18 onwards, you will also get the full screen recording of my color grading and photo editing process in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, which I personally use Affinity Photo.
