The Rising Of The Shield Hero Pitch Meeting Season 4

So you have another shield hero for me? Yes, sir, I do now. I’m assuming you remember
where we left off the last season, right? absolutely do Oh. That is, actually it’s probably fine. And so anyway, now for me
is going to be flying on, island to this place on the right, which is like,
not Japan, definitely not Japan. is he doing Well, then last season, Raffaele or awesome,
you know, red and white robes. And so, you know, clearly
that means only one thing. She wants to be the emperor of a place
she’s literally never heard of before. And so now he’s going to this place
built of that. Right. Because it’s the only place
with trading ships to not Japan. he’s going to arrive in Tibet,
and then he’s going to book a ship. And, you know, we’ll probably be
in and out in like one episode, right? well, you know,
not quite because, you know, still to that is like,
it’s like founded by a previous CEO there. So they worship him
as like a god there. Right. So and he’s pretty much the king as well. So he’s going to arrive,
have some pomp and circumstance and then he’ll get to the ship. So probably around two episodes Try six. that’s like half the Exactly. worry that spending so much time
on this side quest will make the actual, you know, important part of the season
feel Never even crossed my mind. So then anyway, now
if he’s going to arrive and sort of that and everyone is just so happy to see him. well, you know, he must like He will hate
every single moment of it. Especially the part
where all the nobles send their, you know, young daughters to him
while he’s in the back. no. How is he going to fix
such a precarious situation? Well, he’s the shield hero. So he use this shield. he’s going to. Oh, oh I see okay. I guess if you do if that was your goal
then yeah you should definitely And then we’re going to meet this line
guy guides Lewis right. What’s this guy who’s lying? So. What’s this Rory guy like? Well, you have the white Tiger siblings
for an outlet, right? Because, you know,
he killed their father. that is just so not No. It’s none. So then anyway, after now,
if he survives the poisoning attempt. Who tried to poison the shield? Hero in broad None board because he had
the antidote ready to go for everyone. how did he know to do that? Oh, yeah.
I should have mentioned. At the start of the season,
we find out the Queen of millionaire I gave now for me, the script
for this part of the show. gotcha. Yeah, that. That would do And so anyway,
now if we decide that Geralt was probably did these things,
so he’s going to suggest a duel with him. how does that go? Well, for now,
they’re going to fight him. And foal decides
that it’s time to level up. and how are we going to show
We’ll get this. The white tiger is going to turn
into a frickin white tiger. And so,
you know, he’s going to smack Jamal’s to the ground over the course of,
two episodes. you say two episodes? And so then after he’s won the fight,
he can actually go to Not Japan. Now. wait,
was that the condition of the duel? I thought he just wanted
to, you know, bring justice. Who is would be Apparently. And so he was going to take, like,
all the main characters and all the side characters on the ship
there. Right? But there’s a problem. not Japan sent assassins to kill now
for me and all his crew before they manage to land there. And you know their previous all hero
magic. no. If the heroes can’t attack them,
then what can they possibly do against this foe?
By jumping off the side of a ship. I guess that is that is one strategy. it does end up working out, though,
because, you know, retaliates Dina. Now for me and you know, Guy Island,
they actually end up on the shores of not Japan
thanks to the Water Dragon. wait, wait,
what’s this about a water dragon? Oh, the Water Dragon is like the,
you know, the protector of, not Japan. And, you know, it’s, it’s it’s
it’s it’s a mystical beast that’s going to communicate several times
non-verbally with the characters. it’s just something that drives the plot
Essentially, yes. And so then it’s going to tell them
through this classic non-verbal communication style that, you know,
they got to destroy this lighthouse to, to remove the barrier that stops anyone
from landing on the island so that, you know,
their friends can land on the island. If no one could get in. And how did now for me
in, like, half his crew get Because. You know what that works. Great. And so anyway,
they need to take out a lighthouse, right. And the people guarding it as well Fighting people who have an immunity
to all hero power. Sounds like that’ll be actually see it.
For example, an annoyance. really? Yeah. Because this guy who now from he’s only
met a hole one time gives him a shield that allows him to, you know, fights
people who he’s not supposed to fight. does that mean they successfully destroy
the lighthouse in the They do. And their friends all arrive, and
it’s like a happy reunion sort of thing. Right? now that they’re all in the country,
does that mean they’re finally going to go to the Emperor
and try to convince them that, you know,
how are you putting on the white and red robes
with really just the misunderstanding? Oh, no. Ref Talia is fully set
on becoming emperor of the country. Now. sorry. I must have missed that. When did that giant change in the plot
Oh, that was always happening. was always going to happen,
then why not just have it as though she wanted the throne from the Because I’m not going to rewrite
what I’ve already written. And so anyway, then we have Talia,
and the army is going to, you know, go to this old, old capital or Talia
is going to get some vague emperor powers. they meet any armies along the way,
because surely they would. You Oh, no. Despite the fact that there is,
you know, supposedly an imperial army, we will never, ever, ever see them. And we’re only ever going to meet its
commander, this lady Schuldiner, right? I’m a little bummed about the fact
there’s no army. But you know, what’s this new girl Well,
she’s going to look a lot like Sardinia. a second. She looks similar.
And her name is similar. That’s anime logic, for
they must be Oh, dang it. How did you guess my crazy plot twist? Yes, she is sardine, his little sister.
And you know what? She’s also going to challenge
her older sister to a duel. how does that Well, since she hasn’t had
much screen time up until now, Sardinia decides that, you know, for this one
scene, she is just completely unkillable. if she’s all powerful and well again, shielding are going
Well, she’s going to summon the soul of a previous emperor
into her body, right? So, you know, we have kind of
like a final boss for Talia to fight. have what unjust so many Oh, don’t think about it too much,
or you will go crazy. But anyway, the point is that this, this older emperor
is going to look exactly like Raph Talia. Except she’s got red lips and carries
a giant sledgehammer. final fight with two people who share
the exact same powers and even look alike. Now, where have I seen this before? Oh, right. Everywhere. Shut up! I was stuck for a way to end it. I mean, the current emperor
is literally like, just a child. could have had the Emperor’s imperial army
fight reptilians, rebellion army. You know, like a real civil war. Oh, I’m begging you, please shut up. And so anyway, then evil finally
is going to decide that she can fly. Now. And also she’s going to go
explore the capital. what reason is Oh, some vague reason
that’s not important. And all the important thing is that,
you know, the final fight
is going to take place in the capital. Now. Like. Yeah. So how does the actual final fight Well, I mean, Ralph Tai swings her sword
and makes a couple of funny colors. And, you know, evil
retaliate is the same with her hammer. And, you know, eventually it’s just over. that that seemed rather
That’s because it was. And, you know, evil reptilians decided that Raph is a worthy successor
to the throne of not Japan. wait. Is that what this fight was about? The evil emperor didn’t just spawn in and decide
to randomly start destroying Apparently. And so, you know, ref, tally is like,
you know, the emperor of a country now. And anyway,
then we’re going to get to the spear era. right. There are. There are at least three other heroes
in this thing, aren’t Oh, yeah. He’s undergone
a lot of character development off screen. And, you know,
he wears, like, this fancy armor. Now. He’s got a lot of new spells. He’s got follow liaise with him. And, you know, he kills the evil princess. just kills one of the most central
villains of the entire plot in just one random scene, without any
It does seem that way, though. Maybe he doesn’t really kill her because, you know,
there’s something about, you know, maybe he didn’t,
you know, destroy her soul or something. And there’s going to be,
like, a little twitch at the end. It’s probably not important, though. I have questions. Good. So then we’re going to end the season
on, like, some happy, fun time memories kind of thing where everyone’s back
in the village and they’re all so happy. I’m glad to see the happy people
doing the happy things are Right before we show
the teasers is how season five is going to be crazy and horrific enough,
and he’s going to have blood all over him. He’s going to like this. Oh, my gosh,
that is just such a giant jump. And also a little Exactly, which is why
I think we should have it as the main image of just, you know,
every single article about this show. think that might be a bit scary? I mean, considering that it’s
going to be a picture of now for me, covered in blood,
not to mention spoilery. If people are just randomly wandering these websites
