And so 15 years later and 8 years for me the second season I never thought would happen comes to an ABSOLUTELY AWESOME conclusion, genuinely such a hype way to finish an amazing comeback. and of course it had to be with a MASSIVE FUCKING CLIFFHANGER. I love this show, see you all in more 15 years!
1st Cliffhanger leading into a 2nd is crazy lol. S tier work from everyone involved. See y'all again hopefully in 3 years.
So the brain rot finally comes to an end… To be honest, all I wanted was an answer for the biggest Gainax ending in history all those 15 years ago.
I feel like this season wasted a lot of time with random episodes instead of building up the characters more and explaining a lot of things from last season, like the infamous episode 9 from season 1 with stocking's love life… Season 2 was also repeating the other season with a lot of duplicate episodes. example episode 6 featuring new characters and then episode 9 them wearing the same clothing but with inverted colors.
I just hope we don't get another Gainax ending… Even the original creators have grey hair now… Just let it end…

while i personally did not want there to be another cliffhanger ending for another season that'll (likley) come out years later like last time, i thought it was better than the last one and honestly if you ask me – i think it's quite a conclusive ending in it's own funny way. kid me would've absolutely loved the second season after watching the original. and i feel bad for those who couldn't make it to see this come to fruition. i give my full gratitude to trigger for making it become a reality.
[💛]THEY ACTUALLY DID IT! And entire episode where the reckless song never played, qualifying it for a potential something for something else we have [🧡] it won't be immediate, because my head is still overheated for all the randomness
