City The Animation Episode 12 Reaction – CITY THE ANIMATION 12話 海外の反応

What’s up, guys? Back in today with another reaction to City the Animation. This time with episode 12, I think. Yep. Uh, was a fine episode last week. Definitely one of the weaker ones in my opinion. Again, as usual, there was some decent segments in there, but overall was one of the weaker episodes in my opinion. I did especially like the intro segment about these videos, though. But yeah, let me know what you guys think about this episode in the comments. Leave a like on the video if you guys do like, and subscribe to the channel if you want to keep up to date. Wow. Funny you say that considering gambling and scratch cards and such are such a popular thing. That clearly is the case that people love losing tickets. It’s been a while since I’ve had Izzumi Wacko in this setting. She definitely brought a bit more life to the manga artist segments last week, but still like those segments are not great. So, good to have her in more situations like this. I’m just going to uh actually I’m going to skip the intro. I mean, like last week, my team and city are playing a ma another massive game. Um I think I’m just going to have to resign myself to the fact I’m missing the first half. I didn’t just watch a goal though for the first 10 minutes. So hopefully nothing changes. But um yeah, no point really skip opening I guess cuz I I’m going to miss it anyway. But um as I did say the last episode wasn’t fantastic, but you got to you got to like cut some slack cuz the last maybe four or five weeks there’s been a few incredible episodes, hasn’t there? Episodes that I imagine took a lot of hard work and dedication and time to make them what they were. But um as I said, only a couple episodes left, including this one. So hopefully we go out with a bang. Hopefully these two go out with a even more of a bang after their uh after their little victory of the the race. Might end up seeing them say goodbye for once and for all next week. the summer photo contest. That’s a pretty good one. Oh, didn’t didn’t we have that like proper ear on the series? It was just like broccoli everywhere. Um, which one of those do you prefer? I honestly prefer the more normal one of the guy. kind of sums up summer nicely, I guess. The Tatunogo and it’s eating some kind of beetle like protruding from it. I mean, surely that would win. The legendary Sui Noa never before seen. That’s what losers say. She would never say that if she Yeah. Oh, really? Honestly, I think they both got to take up that deal. That’s way too good of a deal to both of these girls. Wow. That’s just Oh, that’s just serves right, I guess. But that is kind of brutal. That was him. Oh, I’m I’m surprised the other girl’s not pissed the fact that she decided to split all the money now. Yeah, don’t you start forgetting about this. But yeah, that’s the one I chose. Again, it’s like it’s really normal, but it is just like it does capture it really well, weirdly. Like, yeah, there’s just something quite charming about the simplicity of it, perhaps. Oh, there it is. She found it. Yes. And it is the one. Honestly, I mean, sounds bad, but just steal it. You’ve gone through all this time, effort, and trouble. Just [ __ ] steal that thing or just say, “I I’ll come back later.” I’m sure in Japan they’d be like, “Yeah, you know what? I trust you to come back later and pay.” Couldn’t go with that anywhere else. But honestly, I think they probably would let you do that there. I say steal it like it wasn’t hers anyway. Is it really stealing if it was yours to begin with and you didn’t intentionally give it up? Ask that creature from last episode. Strange creature. Why? Why we have to attack him? Pick up. He’s impervious. Why are we attacking him? So instead of stealing we been out doing assault on assume it’s endangered species which is very illegal. Just pick up just water the site and pick up the Why are we attacking him? I don’t get it. Just pick just pick up the [ __ ] money. Wow. Fair enough perseverance though. You know exactly what’s going to happen though, don’t you? She’s going to go back and it’s going to be gone. an even contest. I again I really don’t understand why she had to attack it. Oh, he blocked it. Didn’t even never had arms to be honest. I say as well, they’re taking their sweet time with this, aren’t they? Taking that [ __ ] sweet time of this. What we This is what we should have done in the first place. Just gone to the side and taken her money. Haven’t seen that money in a while, though. So, probably gone. We really just spent a whole 24 hours doing that, by the way. Nothing to show for it. I don’t know. I don’t know the first thing to say about that outcome. What happened? Did he go to the store and buy it for her? [ __ ] those horse racing. The the rest ain’t got a [ __ ] chance. Wow. Jesus and glory. This was a hell of a race. sucks that she’s [ __ ] um listening to it rather than watching. This type of thing always happens though when you like like I said earlier about football match when you when there’s like one football match you miss out like 38 and it just happens it’s like the best one the best possible one that it could have been. disqualified. Yeah. I mean, I don’t bet in general, but I see especially horse racing just unless you have some kind of massive amount of knowledge can’t be like can’t be very profitable, right? the sheer amount of chance and luck that goes into it. Yeah, when I did used to bet it was stuff you could control with an element of gambling, poker specifically. I used to be good at poker and that’s something you can kind of control. You can fold when you want pretend and yeah, it’s a lot more in your control it seems like. But even then I it’s just like totally um it’s always a scam. Say the name, bro. The one who I assumed the horse died to be honest with you. Get bit in the throat. Surely that ticket can’t still be valid. Jesus sil nice. That sound like a hell of a race. That looked very gory. Yeah. It was a gazelle the whole time. Where’ those horns grow from? Wow. All that paper. Ah, incredible. Wow. Incredible. That was eventful. We didn’t actually see anything happen, but they made that sound incredibly eventful. Farewell speech. First, we get that today. I did mention this earlier, didn’t I? probably thought we through this next week. There they Huh? the dowsing. Oh, there’s the uh the ward headquarters. So, she’s doing everything. Get a little taste of everything to there. I don’t want to be presumptuous, but I’m almost betting that like where is she moving to? I have a feeling she’s probably just moving like down the road. I think it’s overseas, but I could be wrong about that. I do feel like these two girls are a massive heartbeat of this show though, aren’t they? And then nonsense acorn moving. Oh, that was that was cute, wasn’t it? So, we’re now starting again, are we? These dudes. These were the best part of a uh of another not too great episode a few episodes back, weren’t there? a beautiful relationship. ship. To be honest with you, this sounds terrible, but that’s how it used to be when you used to do drugs. You buy drugs and you’re like, “Oh, what happens when you run out?” Cuz that would always be a massive thing when you run out, when when the night gets late. This honestly sounds like very similar talk as addiction talk right here. It’s unhealthy. What I’m trying to say, it’s not healthy. It’s not healthy to think about the after. Yeah, these guys hopefully they have a better time than they did on that [ __ ] trip. No, they kind of deluded themselves into having an okay time, I guess. But it’s already going a little bit better, I think. Eating some good food. a a wooden box. They really drink out of wooden boxes like that. I’ve seen the others. Not sure I’ve seen a wooden box like that. over Hey, there it is. There it is. That’s what these guys too. Yes, we have some refreshing. for you guys. Absolutely. Once you guys start spouting that word, it’s a long day. Okay. And we have got an end segment. Pretty decent episode. Pretty decent episode here. I think all the segments like there wasn’t any bad segments today. They’re all uh they’re all good. Nothing truly nothing none of the like bests would say any segment here was one of the best segments from the show, but they’re all good, weren’t they? I do think my favorite last one was good, but I do think my favorite was probably them all. Uh well maybe the one just before this with the girls um the girls that talk nonsense. I do really I did really like that even though it was quite short of her going around touching all the uh her usual kind of things experiencing the uh the city again one last time. But um cuz that one was quite short. I would say the uh the photo at the start of the episode where they’re all kind of agreed to split the uh the pot. I like that segment. and the photo I like the best one. So yeah, Sweet Olive Mana, I think that’s it. I didn’t quite catch that. You first seal. Oh, wow. Three shooting stars. really. Please, please, please. Nothing. That’s nice. Literally actually though strikes me as slightly slightly more selfish than that. I mean, it is quite literally almost being proven wrong just by her existence and these two going out. Yeah, that’s that sounds more accurate. Wonder what is wacko wish for. So what does that say? What does that tell you? That’s just a planet. No. What the hell was that? Was that an alien? Oh, did it try to say something? Is that Japanese? Oh, look who it is. What the hell going on here? Um, yeah. Do you reckon that’s said something? It’s really annoying because it’s it’s quite hard to read Japanese in terms of like hard to read anyway because you’re foreign, but it’s also because they write the other way around. So, it’s even harder to kind of see it that way, not this way. Feel like that’s Japanese, but I don’t know. Maybe it’s just random movements. So that was a Oh, a remote controlled star. That’s a shame for the girls. Um yeah, thank you guys for watching again. Good episode today. Again, nothing incredible. Not one of the best episodes or anything, but certainly not one of the the worst. Um I think there was some good segments here. Like I said, this was probably my favorite. Uh the photo contest, seeing the pictures they took, seeing them getting all worked up about the prize. Um I wasn’t a massive fan of this to be honest with you. It felt like it went on a bit too long. Like that. How long was that segment? Like almost 5 minutes by just like punching this thing. I’m not really sure what the joke was here. Maybe it was some kind of joke that didn’t translate over too well. But um for me again, it just kind of seemed illogical. Many things do in this series and that is a funny part of it. But like that one I just didn’t understand at all. Uh this was really fun. Um, again, it’s one of those things where you hear about it, it’s like, I wish I I wish I could have sort that because that sound this whole race thing, pageant horse contest sounded absolutely crazy. Um, and yeah, I think this was my probably my second favorite part of today, just uh seeing her kind of go around the town again. Just this like little interaction at the end here, I thought was really lovely. Um, and again, they’re one of the biggest kind of beatings heart beating hearts of this show for me. So hoping to see more of them next week as well to kind of finish off. But um yeah, decent segment with the old guys. I did prefer the holiday they went on to be fair. I think that was a lot more fun. Uh because we had kind of seen a lot of this before. It didn’t kind of feel quite as uh quite as fun in my opinion anyway.
