Gart knew Clevitus can break the seal and he’s not doing it. But Gart couldn’t break the seal. Does that mean Drell is stronger than Gart? Forge never acknowledged Luna. If the old king still has access, he must be alive. It’s not like his body is being manipulated. Finally, there’s something that can pose a threat to a Lord beast. The heat of Hiden Forge is not something Clevitus can simply walk through. Mago was the genius swordsman. He was trained by the strongest master around. He believed in the cause even when no one else did. Drill believed Margo’s the one from the prophecy. He’s the chosen one. When the chosen hero is defeated because of a small stone, when the ownership of the regalia is transferred so easily, and even after all that, the power they obtained being nothing compared to a lord beast really shakes Drill’s belief in the prophecy. I guess that’s why he moved on to the second tradition of heroes using magic to obtain power. The role of a hero in Heiden is to kill the dark beasts and expand their world. But now Drell is convinced the process of creating heroes and expedition is all deception. Deception to hide the real power hidden inside the forge. Drill will take that power and accomplish his goals. But if he’s working with a Lord beast, what could be his goal? The role of heroes is to kill the Lord beasts. It’s possible Drell is not aware he died in that mountains. It’s possible he’s not aware a lord beast is using him, manipulating him. Clevitus was previously focused on finding who his enemy is, but now even he is more interested in the forge and its secrets.
