Clevatess Review | Anime #shorts

This is the most underrated anime of summer 2025. Imagine the raw brutality of Berserk, the quiet depth of Fen, and an almost Makoto Shinaike character designs. It is set in a world divided between human kingdoms and the lands of demon kings. These demon kings aren’t just monsters. They’re god-like beings who view humanity as nothing more than insects. Among them is Clevveres, a terrifyingly powerful demon king. When his land is invaded by the strongest heroes of a human kingdom, he swats them like insects. And he doesn’t stop there. He destroys the entire kingdom in a single night, except for the newborn girl, Luna, who is the sole heir to the throne of the kingdom he just destroyed. The child’s mother begs Clevites to raise Luna, not as a hostage, but as her guardian. And surprisingly, he agrees to protect the child until she rises to become the kingdom’s next ruler so that he might finally understand the complexities of humanity. Now that I’m finally caught up with the latest episode, I can tell you what truly makes this anime special is how it balances horror, tenderness, tragedy, and hope. So if you’re sleeping on Clevitzes, you’re missing out on one of the most ambitious dark fantasy anime of the decade.

  1. Luna is a boy, and it wasn't the mother who begged for Luna's life it was a boy who probably was an aide of the king. Luna's mother is show after

  2. Note: Luna (The baby) is a boy and he was entrusted to Clevatess by the King’s Aide not her mother. Sorry for getting it wrong guys 😢
