Hey, what’s up everybody? Blumft here and today we’re going to be watching New Pinion Stalking with Garter Belt season 2 episode 8. Last episode we had that absolutely amazing football segment that was definitely one of the better ones that has stood out to me this season and once I do my ranking at the end of the season, I definitely think that will be like top five based off where we are right now. That’ll absolutely be top five. Um, but yeah, I’m curious to see how they’ll top the last episode. Again, after episode six, you know, everything that follows it is kind of going to be a little, you know, it’s going to be hard to it’s going to be hard to follow up after episode 6, but episode 7 managed to do it perfectly. I still loved it. It was amazing. Uh, they had two solid segments. I think that is their strongest uh combo. If there’s like one to two segments in an episode, you know, it’s going to be like very solid. Three segments, you know, it’s a little more of a, you know, we’re just doing some things. So, we’ll see. I fully expect this episode to be three segments after, you know, episode 6 was one segment. Episode seven’s two. Just seems about right. Uh, but yeah, I’m ready to get into this. Again, the as usual, the art for the segments can sometimes really just be like completely different from what you expect, and I like that. Hey, Geek Boy. All right, I’m not going to sugarcoat it. I do think this was the weakest episode out of the season by far. I don’t know if you guys may agree with me, you may not. The musical enjoyers may love it. Um, I don’t mind musicals. It’s not my favorite. It’s not my least favorite. It’s just, you know, neutral. Again, I watched Hasbin Hotel. I loved it. I enjoy the singing and stuff. But, uh, yeah, this is definitely one of the more weaker ones. as I predicted, three segments, those tend to be the more casual, just out there type of episodes, whereas two episodes, especially one episode is just or sorry, one segment or two segments. Um, those are like the higher tier, harderhitting ones. Um, but yeah, I enjoyed this first the first two segments a lot. I definitely think uh there’s a message to be taken there that there’s great evil in the internet. I think that’s obvious. Yes. But I feel like I’m missing something else. Um let’s see. Yeah, I I definitely feel like even if I miss out on like whatever they’re referencing to, I can draw some enjoyment from it. But I definitely think me missing out on the reference combined with a somewhat more weak plot or it just seems very straightforward. It’s not It’s not weak. It’s just super straightforward. Um, but yeah, I mean, I enjoyed it. I think it was silly. It was funny. Not every episode has to be like episode 6. Not every episode has to be some super crazy high impact animated uh full action episode and just be silly. I liked it. I especially like how they did the the the PNG of the the police the the rookie. What’s the reference here, guys? Please tell me in the comments. I I I completely missed it. Is this like a reference to a cop show as well as like something else? Cuz it only reminded me of Gurin Lagon. Especially when the rookie was like on fire and hit him. It sounded like something Simone the digger would have said. Right here. You sacrificed your own body in an attempt to vanquish me. This right here just feels like a Gurin Lag on speech. I like that. And then honestly the best part of the episode for me was the ghost explosion. Like the buildup getting cancelled. I’m kidding. That was great. I loved that. Uh but yeah, definitely a topper one. If I had to rank them right now, this would definitely be my least favorite episode of the season. And hopefully it just stays this one for the rest of the season because what we got it’s 12 episodes, right? I think so. I hope this is the weakest that it gets. But again, give us some time.
