When Boxxo meets a girl who can hear people’s inner voice | Reborn as a Vending Machine Season 2
Finding themselves in the labyrinth straight, Helamy deduces that carry oil tampered with the transfer circle, rendering them unable to control it. With Director Bear carrying Boxo, the three head to the Hunter Association building, they inform the manager of what is going on. Hulam explains that they need a magic stone to fix the transfer circle. Boxo and Director Bear go into the labyrinth to find a magic stone where they rescue a young girl and her two monster companions from monsters. They then introduce each other. The girl’s name is Kikoyu and her monsters are Botan and Kuroyata. Kikoyu explains that he has the ability to hide her presence and can read people’s thoughts by touching them. Her animal friends actually serve as her protectors rather than her pets. While preparing a meal, Kikoyu tells them about her past, mentioning a sentient field whom Kikoyu had named Field that is related to Boxo and now carries a piece of him that can store food. Since Boxo is a reincarnated human from another world, he suspects Field might be too. Kikoyu takes a liking to the foods that Boxo provides. Director Bear also suspects that Kikoyu is a snowchild and explains the history of nearly extinct snow children, also revealing that beheading them before they reach adulthood will turn them into an ice statue that can remove curses. The two become determined to protect Kikoyu from Kerry Oil, who may want to use her to heal his son. They find a magic stone that cannot help them, but then discover that the piece of field can’t leave the labyrinth due to it having monsters inside it. So, Boxo uses his barrier to disrupt the labyrinth and allow Kiko to pass through. Joined by Hulam, the group begins their search for a lava fiend to obtain its magic stone. Though, Kiko and Boxo get a little competitive with providing food for the others. They eventually trap and defeat the lava fiend with the help of Lamis, who ended up in the Clearflow Lake straight, who managed to find her way to the straight using Hulami’s magic items to break through the dungeon floors. Though the others aren’t happy with her recklessness, nevertheless, they are glad to be reunited.
